These FanDuel lineup recommendations are based on matchups, recent performances, overall upside/talent levels, and other factors such as Vegas odds, home field advantage, and more. Good luck with your FanDuel DFS lineups!

FanDuel Quarterback - Week 10 DFS Picks

Drew Brees (vs DEN, $8,200)

Drew Brees is the epitome of tournament player this week. He gets a terrible matchup on paper against the best pass defense in the NFL this season. This game is set at 48 points, though, and the Saints are small favorites, which suggests they will be doing plenty of scoring. Brees is also averaging a healthy 28.2 fantasy points per game at home this season. The Saints are throwing the ball around 40 times per game, and he’ll have plenty of opportunities to hit value this week. He’s a tournament-only option.

Marcus Mariota (vs GB, $7,400)

Mariota has enjoyed quite a bit of success this season, and he’s coming off one of his better weeks. He’s a sneaky option because of the matchup. Tennessee loves running the ball, but Green Bay has one of the best rush defenses in the NFL. They will be forced to throw with Mariota, who has really looked outstanding over his last five starts. Green Bay also has the offense to make this game high scoring, as the Vegas total would suggest. Mariota will likely be throwing for most of the game, and he can safely be used in all leagues for his price tag.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 10 DFS Picks

David Johnson (vs SF, $9,400)

There are multiple elite running backs that can be used this week, but David Johnson takes the cake. He’s been the best running back in fantasy this season, and he’s contributing in all facets of the game. He gets a great matchup against the 49ers, who he dominated for 185 yards and two touchdowns earlier this season. They have the worst rush defense in the NFL this year, and the Cardinals are huge favorites. They will likely ride Johnson from the start to the finish, and he should have no problem scoring fantasy points this week.

Ty Montgomery (at TEN, $6,200)

Montgomery might see his own percentage drop this week after he burned fantasy owners last week, but that was because he was on a snap count. Mike McCarthy recently referred to Montgomery as a three down back, which suggests he’ll play a much larger role this week. He has looked great when given the opportunity to run the ball, but more importantly, he has been catching a ton of passes out of the backfield. That likely won’t change this week, and his price still isn’t all that high. He can safely be used in all leagues.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 10 DFS Picks

Mike Evans (vs CHI, $8,500)

Evans is dealing with a concussion, but it looks like he’s going to suit up this week. He’s coming off a huge game against Atlanta, and he has looked outstanding all season. He gets another good matchup against the Bears this week, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Jameis Winston continue to target him at an elite rate. Evans is also a huge touchdown threat, which adds to his upside. He’s an elite option this week.

Michael Thomas (vs DEN, $6,400)

Thomas is my wide receiver of choice to stack with Brees. He’s averaging nearly eight targets per game, and he has been a huge red zone threat for New Orleans. They are projected to score a ton of points this week, and there is a good chance Thomas is able to catch one of them. His price tag doesn’t represent his production yet, and he has proven that rookie wide receivers can immediately produce in the NFL. He’s a fairly safe option for his price tag, and he can be used in all leagues, even with the tough matchup.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 10 DFS Picks

C.J. Fiedorowicz (at JAC, $5,200)

Fiedorowicz continues to be underpriced for the Texans. He has seen at least seven targets in each of his last four games, and he has at least four receptions in all of them. He’s also a touchdown threat, which is essentially all he needs for his price tag. He gets a solid matchup against the Jaguars, who have underperformed this season. Fiedorowicz is a solid salary relief option at tight end this week.

FanDuel Defense - Week 10 DFS Picks

Washington Redskins D/ST (vs MIN, $4,400)

The Redskins defense has struggled quite a bit this season, but they get an elite matchup against the Minnesota Vikings this week. Minnesota has one of the worst offenses in the NFL, and defenses have continuously dominated them. The Redskins are -2 point favorites in this game, which is set at only 42 points. Washington also has special teams touchdown potential, which is never a bad thing when picking a defense. They do come with a bit of risk, but they are extremely cheap and can be used in all leagues with this matchup.
