If not for an injury that kept the Frenchman off the pitch for two months, Payet would be the clear front-runner for EPL player of the year. Much like how he started the season, the midfielder has been on fire in recent weeks. Since returning to the starting lineup after the New Year, Payet has scored at least 8.5 points in every match and over 30 points on two separate occasions.

Value Pick - Emmanuel Emenike – West Ham United - Salary - $3,700

Emenike doesn’t have much of a track record in the league but is the favored option to start up top for the Hammers this weekend with likes of Diafra Sakho, Andy Carrol, and Enner Valencia out with injuries. With Dimitri Payet receiving the bulk of attention from the Black Cats back line, the young Emenike may find himself enough space to score his first Premier League goal.
