DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 17 DFS Picks

Jalen Hurts - ARI @ PHI ($8,300)

Nothing fancy here with Jalen Hurts, as the Philly QB represents the safest spend-up option on the slate. Hurts and this Eagles' passing attack haven't been at their best in recent weeks, yet his DFS floor and production remain elite, as does his upside. He's scored 20 or more DraftKings points in 12 of 15 games this season and topped 30 points on three occasions.

Hurts draws one of the best matchups possible against the Arizona Cardinals. They currently stand bottom five in the NFL in yards per attempt (7.65), passing TDs (27), and rushing TDs (five) allowed to opposing QBs.

Brock Purdy - SF @ WAS ($7,000)

Purdy comes into Week 17 off his worst outing of the season, a four-INT dud against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas night. He also suffered a stinger to his non-throwing shoulder, which caused him to finish Week 16 on the sidelines. The abysmal performance came as a shock to the system for the Niners QB who had been red hot in recent weeks and had averaged 27.86 DK points in San Fran's three previous games.

The second-year pro gets the mother of all bounce-back spots this week against Washington. The Commanders' secondary has been shredded in 2023, and to make matters worse could be without as many as three starters in Week 17. Washington has allowed the NFL's most passing TDs (33) while ranking bottom-two in DraftKings points (338.52) and passing yards (4,088) allowed to the QB position. If there's ever a "buy low" spot to get in on Purdy...this is it.

MORE TOP QB PLAYS: Lamar Jackson ($7,700); Jacoby Brissett ($4,900)

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 17 DFS Picks

Kyren Williams - LAR @ NYG ($8,300)

Volume is our friend in DFS and Kyren Williams has been handling a gargantuan workload since returning from a stint on IR in Week 12. Over L.A.'s last five, Williams has averaged a ridiculous 25.6 touches per game which he's parlayed into an average of 25.56 DraftKings points per contest.

With his throwback, Todd Gurley-like role in this surging Rams offense, Williams is in a prime Week 17 spot against the Giants. The G-Men have forked over the NFL's third-most rushing yards (1,709) to opposing RBs this season, while also allowing a chunky 6.22 yards per target to the position through the air. The talented dual-threat back out of Notre Dame should have every chance to post big numbers in this matchup.

Zamir White - LV @ IND ($5,100)

As of this writing, it looks likely that Raiders running back Josh Jacobs will miss his third straight game. If Jacobs is indeed unable to go, Zamir White would become the premier salary saver on the Main Slate. White has been very good -- and very busy -- in Jacobs' absence, garnering 42 touches and producing 214 rushing yards and a score across Vegas' last two games.

White would be a sure bet for large volume in this Week 17 matchup against the Colts. Indy has been blistered on the ground in 2023 and ranks 29th in the NFL in DK points allowed to opposing RBs. In interim Raiders coach Antonio Pierce's run-heavy scheme, White should have little trouble exceeding the value of his modest $5,100 price tag.

MORE TOP RB PLAYS: Christian McCaffrey ($9,600); D'Andre Swift ($6,500)

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 17 DFS Picks

Deebo Samuel - SF @ WAS ($7,700)

We touched on just how bad and banged up this Washington secondary is when discussing Brock Purdy earlier in the article, so I suppose it's a no-brainer that I want all the exposure I can get to Niners pass catchers in this spot.

While I'm fine with Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk (or George Kittle or Christian McCaffrey or - insert any 49er here -), I'll lean toward Samuel, who's been on a tear since returning from an injury in Week 10 and ranks second in the NFL at the WR position in DraftKings points scored over the last seven weeks.

Chris Olave - NO @ TB ($6,800)

While the Tampa Bay Bucs are one of the league's hottest teams, it's certainly not due to their secondary. Tampa ranks dead last in the NFL in receiving yards (2,948) allowed to enemy wideouts and is one of just five teams that's allowing over 9.0 yards per target in 2023.

The Bucs' abysmal back end will struggle to contain Saints WR1 Chris Olave. While he's battled injuries down the back half of the season, Olave has still managed to either go over 100 receiving yards or score a TD in his last six healthy starts. With Michael Thomas sidelined, Olave has garnered a massive 40.7% air yard share for New Orleans.

MORE TOP WR PLAYS: Michael Pittman Jr. ($7,400); D.J. Moore ($6,900)

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 17 DFS Picks

Dalton Schultz - TEN @ HOU ($4,300)

With our tight-end cheat code David Njoku off the main slate, we'll be forced to look elsewhere at the always-tricky position. Houston's Dalton Schultz stands out at just $4.3k, thanks in large part to C.J. Stroud's awaited return to the Texans lineup.

Schultz has proven to be an excellent offseason pickup for this rejuvenated Houston franchise, as he stands third in the NFL in TE touchdowns (five) and fifth at the position in red zone targets (14). The former Cowboy boasts a healthy 11 yards per reception on the year and represents a high-upside DFS play at a price tag that's his lowest since Week 9.

Gerald Everett - LAC @ DEN ($3,500)

While Justin Herbert's season-ending injury has been horrible for multiple reasons, Chargers tight end Gerald Everett has actually benefitted from Herbert's absence. Everett has proven to be the preferred receiving option for backup QB Easton Stick, as he's been targeted eight times in each of Stick's starts for the Bolts.

With both Keenan Allen and Joshua Palmer already ruled out for Week 17, Everett should once again be the focal point of the Chargers passing attack against Denver. It's a beautiful spot, as the Broncos rank dead last in the NFL in DK points (251.0) and TDs (10) allowed to the TE position this season. Don't overthink this one, Everett is your man in cash and small-field formats this week.

MORE TOP TE PLAYS: George Kittle ($5,600); Dallas Goedert ($4,800)
