DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 5/28/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy EuroLeague basketball plays and sleepers for 5/28/21. His EuroLeague DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

After an exciting playoff round that saw two of the four series go to five games, we have the somewhat anticlimactic EuroLeague Final Four. Barcelona is back in the Final Four for the first time in seven years. Milan is there for the first time in 29 years! CSKA and Efes had to wait.....two whole years and that's only because there was no Final Four last year. This is a rematch of the Final in 2019.

Barcelona took both meeting against Milan during the season. Both CSKA and Efes traded blowout wins. CSKA won by 35 in December when Mike James was still on the team. Efes returned the favor with a 30 point victory in March. This will be the last EuroLeague article for the season since DraftKings didn't offer a showdown for the Championship back in 2019. I doubt they do here either. It has been a fun ride, and while I wont be doing EuroLeague, I'll still be here at Rotoballer over the summer doing the NBA playoffs, MLB, and getting us ready for fall.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/28/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Vasilije Micic, Efes  ($9,400)

I mentioned that these two teams split blowouts this year. Shane Larkin didn't play well in either game. Micic put up 64.5 DraftKing points in 61 minutes. Those aren't great numbers, but we are beyond the point of playing matchups. All four of these teams are solid all around. It does make more sense to attack the CSKA guard corps since Mike James is back stateside though. The CSKA guard corps is the single weakest unit present in Koln.

Malcolm Delaney, Milan ($8,600)

Delaney was the big reason that Milan escaped Munich. He will be the big reason that Milan advances here if they do. He was about the only Milan player that played well against Barcelona this year. Delaney missed the first tilt with Barcelona, but he made up for lost time with 34.5 DraftKings points in 27 minutes in the other game. I still think Delaney has a strong game for the Italians, win or lose.

Iffe Lundberg, CSKA ($8,200)

This is the game that I was waiting for, and kept playing Lundberg waiting for, since the team dismissed Mike James in early April. Lundberg played a season-high 32 minutes, scoring 22 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and dishing out five assists. The four steals were just a bonus. The 46.25 DraftKings points in the clincher against Fenerbahce was a slate-breaking statement. Now the thousand dollar question: can he do it again? It's certainly possible. He put up more than 40 DraftKings points once when James was out in just 23 minutes against Villeurbanne. I will say that the minutes should be there, but 30 DraftKings points is more likely than 40. I'll still take that for the price.

Leandro Bolmaro, Barcelona ($3,900)

There's almost no value on this slate, which is par for the playoffs in any league, right? Everyone tightens up their rotations wanting to have the stars play more minutes. Bolmaro played 51 minutes over four games against St. Petersburg, tallying 32 DraftKings pionts. That's not much, but if he can clear double digits at this price, it might be worth the other star you can pay up for by running him.

Also consider: Shane Larkin, Efes ($10,500); Rodrigue Beaubois, Efes ($8,500); Nick Calathes, Barcelona ($8,100); Kevin Punter, Milan ($6,800)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Will Clyburn, CSKA ($10,100)

Clyburn was an non-factor in the big win over CSKA in December, but he played well despite the huge loss in March. That's when things started to go haywire for CSKA. Clyburn took over the team in the first round against Fenerbahce when many thought the Moscow team didn't have much of a chance without James. Clyburn put up 102 DraftKings points in the three games against Fenerbahce. He might be the safest option out there in the Final Four for DFS.

Johannes Voigtmann, CSKA ($8,000)

Efes had real problems with Voigtmann in both games earlier this season, allowing 49.25 DraftKings points to him in just 35 minutes. Voigtmann is playing a few more minutes with CSKA running a larger lineup most of the time with the guards mostly unsettled. That actually bodes well for them here against Efes. Efes handled Tornike Shengelia in the two games, but not Voigtmann. I'll take the savings and roll with Voigtmann instead, even if he doesn't start.

Chris Singleton, Efes ($7,000)

Singleton was a monster in the Game 5 clincher, scoring 26 real points after scoring just 13 in the first four games combined. This has been the calling card for Singleton in the EuroLeague. He has dominated in elimination games. This is one of those. It's worth seeing if he can do it again with the price this low, but only use him in GPP formats. He's about as volatile as they come.

Pau Gasol, Barcelona ($4,900)

Gasol played 17 minutes in Game 4 against St. Petersburg, which was five more than he played in the first three games combined. Was it a coincidence that Barcelona won easily? Maybe not. Gasol should finally be in game shape here for Barcelona as the goes for that elusive EuroLeague title. He has the most to play for here and I think we'll see a big game from Pau.

Also consider: Shavon Shields, Milan ($9,600); Brandon Davies, Barcelona ($9,200); Zach Leday, Milan ($7,700); Kyle Kuric, Barcelona ($6,400)
