DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 3/18/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy EuroLeague basketball plays and sleepers for 3/18/21. His EuroLeague DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

Round 30 is on the horizon for Thursday. While most of us in the states will be digging into the NCAA Tournament play-in games, there's still time to indulge in some EuroLeague before college dominates the landscape for four days. There are only five more rounds including this one left in the EuroLeague round-robin format of the regular season. Many teams are jockeying for playoffs spots. Some have started tightening their rotations.

We will have two four-game slates for round 30. The Tel Aviv-Villeurbanne matchup will be made up on April 4. Nikola Milutinov, Sergio Llull, Hassan Martin, Arturas Milaknis, and Kostas Papanikolaou are still sidelined, so we know we have some much-needed value plays in the Piraeus frontcourt. Who is worth paying for? What other value do we have? Let's dive right in!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/18/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Nando de Colo, Fenerbahce ($11,500)

Keep an eye on the status of Marko Guduric here. Guduric missed last round and Fenerbahce only mustered 52 points against Valencia. Nando had 30% of the team's points. Zalgiris is the team that held Fenerbahce to their lowest point total (47) in a EuroLeague contest back in the 2019 EuroLeague playoffs. If Guduric misses the game again, I can see fading the entire top tier of guards. Nando is at his best when Guduric is on the court with him. Lorenzo Brown isn't enough to keep defenses off of Nando.

Peyton Siva, Berlin ($9,400)

Berlin will have Jayson Granger back for the first time since January 29, but he only played eight minutes in a domestic league game earlier this week. Berlin has no reason to push Granger. I would expect him to play between 12-15 minutes. That will disrupt the production of Markus Eriksson more than Siva. It may not affect either one of them if Maodo Lo is still unable to go. This is a nice matchup for Berlin, and one that Siva missed the first time through the schedule. He played a season-high 32 minutes and scored a season-high 21 points against Villeurbanne, a good defensive team, in Round 29. I expect another strong game from Siva here.

Carlos Alocen, Real Madrid ($5,300)

Honestly, the Real Madrid guard corps have not played well in the absence of Sergio Llull and they no longer have Facundo Campazzo to lean on like they did early in the season. Alocen has been the most consistent Real Madrid guard, but he still only plays about half the game. Value guards are a bit tricky on this slate. You can play roulette with Jaycee Carroll and Nick Laprovittola or you can take a chance that Piraeus will keep running Vassilis Spanoulis after his coming up huge in Round 29. To me, Alocen seems the less risky of very risky propositions.

Also consider: Mike James, CSKA ($12,000); Shaq McKissic, Piraeus ($8,800); Austin Hollins, St. Petersburg ($5,900)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Walter Tavares, Real Madrid ($10,600)

The Spaniards are leaning very heavily on the frontcourt to help out the somewhat inexperienced backcourt. Tavares has at least 30 DraftKings points in three straight rounds. CSKA shouldn't be able to stop him from making it four in a row. Tavares went for 33 DraftKings points in the first meeting with CSKA in just 23 minutes. If Tavares can stay out of foul trouble, he could have a ceiling game here. We all know that Real Madrid needs all the scoring they can get right now.

Simone Fontecchio, Berlin ($9,200)

This is a great matchup on paper, but Piraeus locked down the Berlin front in the first meeting. None of the three-headed monster of Fontecchio, Ben Lammers, or Luke Sikma topped 20 DraftKings points in that one. Sikma has slowed down mostly because Lammers and Fontecchio have played as well or better than Sikma over the last six weeks or so. Right now Fontecchio is the only consistent one of the lot. If I choose to attack this good matchup on paper, it will be with Fontecchio. The other two can't be trusted right now, though the ceiling is higher for both than Fontecchio.

Gabriel Deck, Real Madrid ($7,800)

The injury to Llull and the exodus of Campazzo to the NBA have afforded Deck a consistent role in the Real Madrid offense. He has responded with at least 20 DraftKings points in every game that Llull has missed. Deck is the closest forward to another guard, so Madrid will play him on the perimeter to help out at times. The ceiling on Deck isn't all that high. Tavares has dominated usage more than anyone else. However, he's still worth a look in cash lineups. The ceiling is very high if Tavares keeps getting into foul trouble.

Also consider: Sasha Vezenkov, Piraeus ($10,200); Tornike Shengelia, CSKA ($9,600); Mateusz Ponitka, St. Petersburg ($8,200); Livio Jean-Charles, Piraeus ($6,500)
