Zitong's analysis and advice for the top MLB DFS lineup picks on DraftKings for 8/23/15, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your daily fantasy baseball rosters.

As always, my goal with this article is to help you identify viable options to insert into your DraftKings lineups, based on pricing and matchups data. Here's a compilation of players I like when choosing a lineup for Sunday, August 23rd.

Editor's Note: If you play on DraftKings, you should check out our Partner FanDuel - they're hosting a one-day Fantasy Baseball league tonight. It's just $5 to enter and pays out $35,000 in cash prizes, including 4K to 1st place!

Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking

New York Mets LHB vs David Hale

The New York Mets hold a top ten offense against right-handed pitching as left-handed batters, with a wRC+ of 114. With this in mind, Daniel Murphy and Curtis Granderson look like excellent value picks as the Mets face opposing pitcher David Hale in Colorado. Hale holds a 6.25 ERA at home and does not have a quality outing in his past six starts.

New York Yankees Middle of the Lineup vs Trevor Bauer

As a team, the New York Yankees hold a top five offense against right-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 103. Brian McCann and Alex Rodriguez should both be excellent candidates for plenty of RBI opportunities on Sunday against opposing pitcher Trevor Bauer. Bauer has been terrible over his past two starts, in which he has combined for 5.0 innings of work with 11 earned runs and just two strikeouts.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings

Michael Wacha (SP, STL) - $11000

Michael Wacha’s consistency and excellent matchup provide for an extremely safe pick as your primary pitcher on Sunday. Wacha heads into Sunday with five straight quality starts and should dominate on the mound against the San Diego Padres. The Padres hold a bottom-ten offense against right-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 92.

Jordan Zimmerman (SP, WAS) - $8900

Jordan Zimmerman provides amazing value as your primary pitcher or secondary pitcher next to Wacha. There are not many good matchups for second-tier pitchers on Sunday, so definitely consider doubling down on the aces. Zimmerman has been excellent at home this year, holding a 2.44 ERA as opposed to his 4.67 ERA on the road. His matchup is great as well, as he faces a weak offense in the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers hold a bottom-five offense against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 90.

DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings

Yadier Molina (C, STL) - $3100

Yadier Molina remains an excellent value pick as he faces opposing pitcher Colin Rea on the road. Molina holds a wRC+ of 99 against right-handed pitching on the year and has been hitting well at the plate as of late. Rea on the other hand has been mediocre in his two starts since being called up. Right-handed batters are also 7 for 18 against him in these two outings.

Miguel Cabrera (1B, DET) - $4900

Miguel Cabrera’s great hitting continues, as he is now 15 for his last 27 with a home run. Cabrera looks to have a great day at the plate against opposing pitcher Cole Hamels at home. Miguel Cabrera has dominated left-handed pitching this year, holding a wOBA of .465. Hamels has been mediocre since becoming a Ranger, and Cabrera has also hit Hamels really well in a small sample. Cabrera is a career 6 for 8 against the southpaw.

Neil Walker (2B, PIT) - $3500

Neil Walker should be a great value pick against opposing pitcher Ryan Vogelsong at home. Walker has hit right-handed pitching very well this season, holding a wOBA of .343. Vogelsong remains an inconsistent pitcher prone to getting blown up. Walker is also 8 for 19 in his career against Vogelsong, so definitely consider Walker with his power potential in this shallow second base pool.

Nick Castellanos (3B, DET) - $3000

Nick Castellanos looks to be a dirt cheap option as he faces opposing pitcher Cole Hamels at home. Castellanos has been great against left-handed pitching this year, holding a wOBA of .422. Castellanos is also 8 for his last 19, and should definitely be in the lineup against the southpaw on Sunday.

Troy Tulowitzki (SS, TOR) - $3500

At his current price tag, Troy Tulowitzki just has too much power potential to pass up. He will face opposing pitcher Garrett Richards on the road. Tulo holds a wRC+ of 109 against right-handed pitching on the year. Tulo remains a consistent threat to get on base and score runs, and you should definitely look to roster him with this nice value.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings

Nelson Cruz (OF, SEA) - $5100

Nelson Cruz remains the primary outfield target against left-handed pitching. Cruz heads into Sunday with a seven-game hitting streak, and he will face opposing pitcher John Danks at home. Cruz has dominated left-handed pitching this season, with a wOBA of .479. Cruz has also hit against Danks well in his career, going 6 for 20 with a home run.

Austin Jackson (OF, SEA) - $3500

While you’re at it, go ahead and also pick up Austin Jackson for your secondary or tertiary outfielder. Jackson holds a .291 wOBA against left-handed pitching this season. Note that he has dominated opposing pitcher John Danks in his career. Jackson is a lifetime 21 for 49 with three home runs against the southpaw.

Yasiel Puig (OF, LAD) - $3400

Yasiel Puig looks healthy and ready to go after his hamstring injury earlier this week. Puig remains a great sleeper pick as he faces opposing pitcher Lance McCullers on the road. Puig holds a wRC+ of 100 against right-handed pitching this season, and should look to take advantage of the recently recalled McCullers. McCullers was crushed by the Texas Rangers in his last major league start. He gave up six earned runs while recording just one out.
