DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (12/06/16): NBA DFS Advice

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 12/06/16 by Tom Vecchio. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

We have a nice six game slate for tonight, and these medium sized slates are my favorite because you have enough studs and value plays to build out a solid cash or GPP roster. There are some really nice options at ever position tonight. Some are high priced, some are value plays, but I really like all the options listed. So sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/06/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Andrew Harrison - PG, vs PHI ($5,300)

Andrew Harrison has been thrust into the starting point guard role with Mike Conley hurt, and he is doing a decent job so far. His price has risen almost two thousands dollars in the last seven days, but he isn't that expensive yet. In his last three games, he has put up 20 points or more in three straight, with two of those games at 29 points or higher. For his price, and knowing he will be seeing starter minutes, he is a great value. He doesn't need to put up huge numbers to hit value, so there is a ton of upside here. Harrison is also facing off against the 76ers, who are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game to point guards.

Jimmy Butler - SG, @ DET ($8,900)

With Dwayne Wade set to be out for rest on the second night of a back to back, Jimmy Butler stands to see more looks on offense. Butler does have a tougher match up vs the Pistons who are in the top five when it comes to defense vs shooting guards, but Butler has been on a hot streak lately. Including last night's game, Butler has scored 45 or more DraftKings points in three straight games and has the potential for more with the absence of Wade. He will almost certainly hit value, since he likes to fill the stat sheet and contribute in multiple ways.

Derrick Rose - PG, @ MIA ($6,400)

Derrick Rose has a tough matchup tonight vs the Miami Heat who are in the top five in the league when it comes to defense vs point guards. But with that said, Rose has been looking good lately, with four of his last five games scoring 34 or more DraftKings points. Since Rose isn't super expensive and isn't super cheap, he falls into a bit of no mans land and I think he will go over looked by many. You might be able to get his ownership less than 10% in a gpp, and with his consistency lately, he could make a great play.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Gordon Hayward - SF, vs PHO ($8,200)

With all the injuries on the Jazz, Gordon Hayward has taken an even more pronounced offensive role. He has three straight games of 40 or more DraftKings points with a high of 51 points. In his last three games, he has scored: 32, 32, and 31 real points. Those points alone are almost enough for him to hit value for you. Any extra stuffing of the stat sheet is extra value. He is often overlooked at small forward due to the bigger names at that position, i.e. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Paul George. I really like Hayward in this spot tonight since he is facing the Suns who are dead last in the league when it comes to guarding small forwards.

Jon Leuer - PF, vs CHI ($4,500)

Jon Leuer is going overlooked by many, but he has been super consistent and is hitting value nearly every night. In his last six games, he has scored 22 DraftKings points or more in five of those games. I think he is under priced and over looked. He is cheap and allows you some salary relief, which can give you some ability to spend up in a GPP. Leuer also has a favorable match up vs the Bulls who are giving up 47 points per game to power forwards. Now I don't think he will score 47 points, I think with his recent consistency, and a favorable match up, this is a great spot for him.

Jamychal Green - PF, vs PHI ($5,700)

Jamychal Green is also another player who falls somewhere in no man's land. He isn't expensive, but he has been playing really strong lately. In his last three games, he has two games with 35 or more DraftKings points. Memphis is another team who seems to be hit by the injury bug, and Green is now seeing consistent minutes every night. He is also up against Philadelphia, who are not great on defense. This game doesn't have a super high over under, but still plenty of value for Green.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside - C, vs NY ($9,600)

Whiteside is a great option to build a GPP roster around. In his last four games, he has scored 53 points or more in three of those games. He also has a very favorable matchup tonight vs the Knicks who are giving up a whopping 50 DraftKings points per game to centers. This is the kind of matchup you want to exploit. Whiteside has been on very nice streak and he is against a weak opponent. Love him for GPP's.

Vucevic has been on some kind of streak lately. He has scored 31 DraftKings points or more in seven straight games. That is the definition of a cash play. He gets the points seemingly no matter what. He also has six double doubles in his last seven games, which is awesome for DFS players, because getting the extra bonus on DraftKings is always a good thing. He is priced right and is up against the Wizards who are giving up 48 points per game to opposing centers.
