DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Rajon Rondo (at BKN, $8,200)

Rondo has been struggling a bit recently, which has caused his price to drop a few hundred dollars for tonight’s game. Rondo is a triple double threat every time he steps on the court, and he can fill the stat sheet in four categories at an elite level. He gets a great matchup against the Nets, who he dominated for 23 points, 10 rebounds, 14 assists, and two steals in his only game against them this season. Rondo looked healthy in his last game after dealing with an injury, which means he should play 30+ minutes tonight, and he can be used in GPPs.

Shane Larkin (vs SAC, $4,000)

Larkin is far from a cash game option, but he does have tremendous upside for GPPs. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 6.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.2 steals in 21.1 minutes per game. Over that span, he scored as high as 37.0 fantasy points, but he also scored as low as 2.25 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against the Kings, who have been one of the worst defenses in the NBA. Larkin can fill the stat sheet in multiple categories, and he can be used in GPPs tonight.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Garrett Temple (vs PHI, $4,700)

I likely won’t be paying up at the shooting guard position tonight, as the high end options all seem to be slightly overpriced. Temple comes fairly cheap tonight, and he has been playing well recently. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 9.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, but more importantly, he’s averaging 33.1 minutes per game. He gets a great matchup against the Sixers, and Temple has plenty of upside. I’ll likely be using others in cash games, but Temple has great GPP upside for his price.

Mario Hezonja (vs LAC, $3,300)

It looks like the Magic are finally going to give their rookie a decent amount of minutes from here on out. Hezonja has played at least 20 minutes in four consecutive games, and he has scored 24+ fantasy points in two of those games. He comes with a little bit of risk, but he’s a player that can heat up in a couple shots and dominate for the rest of the game. He has yet to flash his true upside, and Hezonja can be used in all leagues for his low price tag tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

LeBron James (vs BOS, $9,600)

James has been playing well for his new coach, and that has a lot to do with the new pace the Cavs are playing at. Over the last 10 days, James is averaging 23.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.0 block, and 1.2 steals per game. He has scored 50+ fantasy points in two of his last three games, and he gets a great matchup against the Celtics, who have been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the small forward this season. There aren’t the plethora of players over $10k that you can spend up for tonight, which means James can be used in all leagues if you’re avoiding Boogie Cousins.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (vs MIA, $5,200)

MKG has been back for three games now, and he’s averaging 14.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. Aside from a game against a weak Lakers team, MKG has played 34 and 37 minutes in his other two games. This game should stay fairly close throughout all four quarters, which means MKG should play around 35 minutes, and he has the ability to fill the stat sheet in multiple categories. MKG has also been shooting the ball well this season, which gives him more scoring upside than he had before his injury. He’s entirely too cheap at $5,200, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

DeMarcus Cousins (at BKN, $11,300)

Some people may skip out on Boogie because of his price tag, but there aren’t many high priced options tonight, which means paying up for Cousins will be a good idea. He was recently injured, but he returned in their last game and was able to score 58.25 fantasy points. He dominated the Nets for 40 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, and one block in his only game against them this season, and Cousins can be used in all leagues tonight.

Jordan Hill (at ATL, $5,900)

Hill flopped in his last start, but that was because of foul trouble, as he nearly scored 1.0 fantasy point per minute in that game. Ian Mahinmi is expected to be out again tonight, which means Hill will draw the start again, and he should see 30+ minutes tonight. He gets a good matchup against the Hawks, who have surprisingly struggled defensively this season. Hill has tremendous upside, but he is also fairly consistent when he gets the minutes. His foul troubles are a bit worrisome, but he can be used in all leagues for his price tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic (vs CHI, $5,900)

Jokic really struggled in his last start against a tough Jazz defense, but he was still able to score 26 fantasy points. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 14.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He’s finally playing big minutes, and he scored 53.5, 43.25, and 37.5 in his three games before he struggled a bit against Utah. He gets a great matchup against the Bulls, who have really struggled against the center this season, and Jokic can be used in all leagues tonight.
