DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 10/27/15

What's up RotoBallers. NBA is back tonight! And that means so are we with our daily fantasy basketball picks for DraftKings.

Tuesday night is opening night for the NBA, and we have three contests to work with for 10/27/15.

Remember, we will find late scratches up until the last minute all season long. Make sure to keep an eye on iffy players up until the time lineups lock. You never know which injury replacements will get a last-minute boost. Let’s get to it!

DraftKings NBA Picks Worth the Investment

Derrick Rose (CHI, PG) - $6500

Derrick Rose starts off the NBA season at an incredibly low base price, and that is understandable due to his lack of production in recent seasons. However, Rose holds incredible value in games he does get to play. He still has the potential to put up great stat lines and should definitely be your go-to point guard if Stephen Curry is too expensive for your budget. Last season, Rose averaged 17.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. His numbers should only go up with the quicker pace that the Bulls expect to play at this year. While his minutes may be monitored down the line, he is healthy on the first day of the season and that is all that matters.

Honorable Mention: Reggie Jackson (Det, PG)

Nikola Mirotic (CHI, PF) - $6400

Nikola Mirotic is a scarier pick given his fluid role in the Bulls offense. However, the pace and space style of offense we expect to see from head coach Fred Hoiberg should really boost his value. Mirotic is expected to be a starter alongside Pau Gasol as the team opens up the season, and he has already shown great production in the past. Mirotic averaged 20.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in March when Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose were out. In the preseason, the Bulls have shown an offense that will rely heavily on Mirotic, who should expect to get more open lanes to the basket to go along with his three point shot. Anthony Davis still remains the cream of the crop at power forward, but I'd look to start Mirotic over the more expensive Pau Gasol here.

Honorable Mentions: Marcus Morris (Det, SF), Paul Millsap (ATL, PF)

Andre Drummond (DET, C) - $8200

It is pretty difficult to justify the use of any center but Andre Drummond on Tuesday night, as he should look to completely dominate the Atlanta front line. The combination of Paul Millsap and Al Horford lacks the size to keep Andre Drummond in check. In fact, last season, this same front line ranked in the bottom five in terms of overall rebounding. Another thing holding back Drummond last year was the clogged paint caused by former teammate Greg Monroe. With Monroe now in Milwaukee, expect Drummond to finally have all that space to himself. Many expected Drummond to have his breakout year last season, but this year looks to be it. Drummond averaged 13.8 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks last season. Expect that to be the floor for his production going forward.

Honorable Mention: Al Horford (ATL, C)

DraftKings Sleeper Pick

Kent Bazemore (ATL, SF) - $3000

Many people will be picking Lebron James at the small forward position out of pure position scarcity. It is true that there isn't much production left if you pass on James, but Bazemore looks to be a great sleeper pick at this investment price. Bazemore is projected to be the starting small forward for the Atlanta Hawks this season, and looks to fill the role that Demarre Carroll had last season. This should be great for Bazemore, who has shown the ability to knock down three pointers and drive to the basket. In the playoffs last season, Bazemore showed that he has earned the coach's trust and minutes on the floor with his hustle. Therefore, Bazemore looks to be a great value play based on the volume work he can expect to see, as well as the great ball movement that the Hawks showed last season.

Honorable Mention: Nate Robinson (NO, PG)
