DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (10/23/24)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Wednesday (10/23/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

I'm loving these weeknight slates. You only need to be one or two players away from a chalk lineup to win a GPP. This is where the RotoBaller optimizer comes in handy. Ownership is high on many players, with only four teams in action. The optimizer can tell you who you need to pivot off. We have more Fun Belt and C-USA action tonight.

We start in suburban Atlanta with Kennesaw State hosting Liberty. A half-hour later, we have Jacksonville State hosting Middle Tennessee State. Both games have massive spreads over 20 points, so finding the value on teams that get blown out will be key.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/23/24, locking at 7 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower end. Good luck, RotoBallers.

College Football Betting Picks - October 23

Since we have DFS slates this week and not just single-game showdowns, I'll add the betting picks here instead of posting them on X. It's one-stop shopping this week!

Liberty (-22.5) at Kennesaw State

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2

I told you these spreads were huge, but I never hinted that they shouldn't be. Give me Liberty.

Middle Tennessee State at Jacksonville State (-20.5)

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 3

A second-year FBS team is nearly a three-touchdown favorite over the Blue Raiders? Yep. It's a tough year in Murfreesboro and the bus ride back from Alabama won't be any better. I'll take the Gamecocks.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Tyler Huff, Jacksonville State ($8.8K)

That's where Huff's value lies ... in those rushing yards. He has over 75 rushing yards in four of the six games this season, going over 100 twice. He also has six rushing touchdowns in six games. Huff will still throw a few touchdowns, but we'll pay this price because he puts up better stats than most running backs.

Kaidon Salter, Liberty ($7.3K)

QB is dreadful tonight. Only playing one is not the worst GPP idea that I've ever heard. Salter is not running as much as last year and he is fumbling more. He's also around $2K cheaper than he was last season. Kennesaw will ugly up games, but Salter's talent at this price point is intoxicating.

Also consider: Nicholas Vattiato, Middle Tennessee State ($6.3K); Braden Bohannon, Kennesaw State ($5.8K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Tre Stewart, Jacksonville State ($6.8K)

Do you know what the most impressive thing about that is? Stewart wasn't even the starter in the first two games of the season. Eight of those 10 touchdowns have come in the last three games. He even scored on receiving last week. Stewart is becoming more involved in the offense. He has 46 touches over the last two games. He's underpriced tonight. Start every build with Stewart.

Quinton Cooley, Liberty ($6K)

In the four games in which Cooley was healthy for the entire game, he has 500 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He's healthy again and Kennesaw State isn't going to be able to stop him. Lock in Cooley as well!

Also consider: Qua Ashley, Kennesaw State ($5.1K); Billy Lucas, Liberty ($4.6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Omari Kelly, Middle Tennessee State ($6.9K)

On top of this, Kelly also returns punts. He got one in the end zone last week for a few extra points for those who used him. Kelly has 33 receptions over the last five games, making him the lone bright spot on a bad MTSU team this season.

Holden Willis, Middle Tennessee State ($6.3K)

The Blue Raiders often play from behind, which means this offense throws a lot. They can sustain more than one receiver for fantasy purposes. The bad news is that Nick Vattiato has only thrown seven touchdown passes in seven games. DraftKings is a PPR site, so all of those receptions keep us afloat.

Tyson Mobley, Liberty ($3.9K)

Liberty doesn't throw the ball much and it spreads it around. That's a bad combination in DFS circles. However, Mobley has more than one reception in every game this season. He's the only Flames player that can claim that distinction. We are dealing with some anemic passing offenses tonight. Sometimes you have to keep digging.

Also consider: Michael Pettway, Jacksonville State ($4.7K); Blake Bohannon, Kennesaw State ($3.8K); Cam'ron Lacy, Middle Tennessee State ($3.6K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Jacksonville State

Most lineups are going to have Huff and Stewart, but going further into the Jax State bucket could be a good idea. Cam Vaughn and Michael Pettway have had a couple of big games this season ... but never both at the same time. Choose one and stick to it.

Middle Tennessee State

Playing from behind can be good in DFS. I wouldn't blame you for keeping the erratic Vattiato out of your stacks. Kelly, Willis, and Lacy all get healthy target shares. Jaiden Credle is affordable and gets decent work before the game gets out of hand.

Also consider: Liberty
