DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/13/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 2/13/21. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

I have been a little silent this week while the EuroLeague is on break, but the silence is broken with a nice ten-game early college basketball slate on DraftKings. We've got a couple of SEC track meets, a couple of Big Ten(14) slogs, my team, and we even have the Ramblers of Loyola-Chicago, the tournament darlings of 2018, included on this slate. They even tossed us a Pac 12 bone with Oregon-Arizona! This is going to be fun!

In college basketball it's perfectly fine to ignore slow-paced games or teams with tough matchups on a large slate like this. Choosing a couple of spots wisely has been the key this year. We all know that V.D. is tomorrow (Valentine's Day) and your significant other would like something nice. Maybe we can boost the bankroll enough to buy some chocolates and a stuffed bear.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/13/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Sharife Cooper, Auburn ($9,000)

This is not your normal Kentucky team. They don't to anything particularly well and look destined to miss out on the NCAA tournament this year. Cooper was cold from the floor in the first meeting with Kentucky, but that was before Kentucky truly hit the skids and before Auburn truly hit their stride. I'm not going heavily on this game because it went way under projections in the first meeting. The teams combined for only 125 points. I think there are better spots than Cooper for GPP's, but I wouldn't move off of him in cash. The potential is here for a big game and the floor is solid.

Chris Duarte, Oregon ($7,400)

Duarte came back from an ankle injury in force this week, going for 41.25 DraftKings points against Arizona State. Duarte has topped 40 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. The one in which he didn't reach that mark was the game in which he got hurt. The price is way too low on Duarte for the ceiling today. He should be used in all formats. I'm expecting high ownership, but I don't care. Duarte's ceiling is as good as anyone's.

Jaden Springer, Tennessee ($6,500)

Springer is the only reason that Tennessee made it through the last week. Both Kentucky and Georgia gave them all they wanted. Springer took over with 78.75 DraftKings points in those two games. As per usual when LSU is on the slate, I'll have exposure to both sides of this game. Springer is the top priority though thanks to his recent hot streak and a very reasonable price tag. It's guys like Springer that allow us exposure to the Auburn game.

Sean McNeil, West Virginia ($4,700)

The Big 12(10) tilt between West Virginia and Oklahoma has the second-highest implied total on the entire slate. And sure, there are some big names to go after on both sides. However, both teams are very deep and have shown a propensity for riding the hot hand. One such hot hand is McNeil, who put up a career-best 26 real points in the upset against Texas Tech that featured a meltdown from Red Raiders coach Chris Beard that would make Bob Knight proud. McNeil's sharpshooting was part of what caused that meltdown. I will target this game, but mostly with cheaper guys that can get hot. McNeil tops that list.

Also consider: Bo Hodges, Butler ($8,000); Austin Reaves, Oklahoma ($7,800); Roman Penn, Drake ($6,900); Adam Kunkel, Xavier ($4,400)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Luka Garza, Iowa ($9,500)

The Iowa guards, who have been white-hot lately, were completely locked down by Michigan State in the first meeting. I wouldn't put too much stock into that except for the fact that the first game was played just 11 days ago. The Spartans perimeter defense has remained stout, so I'm going to attack Sparty with what got Iowa the win the first time around: the immensely talented frontcourt. Garza went nuts with 50.5 DraftKings points in that one. Garza shook off rough games against Ohio State and Indiana with a nice game against Rutgers this week. Garza has the highest ceiling on the slate, and it's not close.

Aaron Henry, Michigan State ($8,200)

Henry stood toe-to-toe with Garza in the first meeting, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double and just 3.25 DraftKings points shy of Garza's output. I have Henry as one of the best per-dollar plays again in this one. Garza is the guy you want in cash games, but Henry is a nice pivot in GPP formats. You can differentiate yourself a bit by running them both if you like. Both have high ceilings and have had nice floors of late.

Andrew Jones, Texas ($7,200)

Jones is the guy that took over when COVID hit Texas. He hasn't let back up. Jones has cleared 27 DraftKings points in all but one game since Christmas. Every one of those was a conference tilt. All conferences are not created equal. The Big 12(10) has a great chance of getting seven of the ten teams into the tournament. TCU is a big dog in this one, but it has a high implied total. Jones wont hit a ceiling here, but another game in the high-20's seems all but a given.

Olivier Sarr, Kentucky ($5,900)

Sarr has been a tough one to peg. In actuality, the entire Kentucky team has been this season. Sarr played just 14 ineffective minutes in the first meeting with Auburn about a month ago, but Sarr has played at least 25 minutes in three of the last four games. It appears as though he is gaining the trust back of the coaching staff. Fouls continue to be a problem for Sarr, so I would steer clear in cash games. However, the upside is good enough for us to chase at this price.

Christian Koloko, Arizona ($4,900)

Koloko moved back into the starting lineup for the first time since December 19 against Oregon State this week. He responded with a solid outing, but still only played 22 minutes. Koloko's role is going to be about the same whether he starts or not, but I think I prefer him off the bench against Oregon. The Ducks are a stout team up front. I'd rather Koloko get some run at the Ducks when they're already a bit tired.

Also consider: Cameron Krutwig, Loyola-Chicago ($8,500); Bryce Nze, Butler ($7,400); Brady Manek, Oklahoma ($5,800); John Fulkerson, Tennessee ($5,500)
