BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 16% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: This has been a forgettable season for DJ Chark when looking at it from a wider angle. He played three games (including a very exciting Week 1 explosion for 15.2 PPR points) to start the year but he then missed every single week until reappearing in Week 11 putting up a zero-dud with just one target.
Chark's righted those wrongs in the past two weeks though, including a W13 outing in which he nearly reached his prior season-high, set in the first game of the year. Chark, even fighting for targets with a bunch of returning/recovering receivers on the Lions roster, finished Sunday with 5 receptions on 6 targets for 98 yards.
While Chark missed on scoring a touchdown this past Sunday, he did so a week ago against Buffalo--that said, he only caught 2-of-5 targets back then for 16 measly yards. One positive, one negative, seems to be Chark's MO.
Another good thing for Chark's upside ROS is that QB Jared Goff has been playing fine football of late and has now attempted 37 and 41 passes in back-to-back weeks, spreading the ball often to his cadre of receivers.
Chark is not going to put up WR1/WR2-type numbers weekly judging by the first two-thirds of the season but he should keep up his 10+ PPR floor ROS. Not the worst Flex play for those in slightly deeper formats.
