ANALYSIS: Derrick Henry was a polarizing draft pick this year. The future Hall of Famer signed with the Baltimore Ravens in free agency after eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans. While the veteran isn’t the superstar he was years ago, Henry was still a fantasy star in 2023.
The former Alabama star was the RB8, averaging 13.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He led the NFL with 280 rushing attempts, totaling 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns in 17 contests. Henry could be even better playing this season.

Baltimore faces the Kansas City Chiefs tonight in a rematch of the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs had an impressive defense in 2023, holding running backs to 17.8 fantasy points per game. However, fantasy players should start Henry regardless of the matchup. The veteran was held back by a poor Titans offense last year. Thankfully, that won’t be a problem in 2024.
