ANALYSIS: Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has an appealing matchup after his Week 5 bye. The veteran wide receiver faces an Indianapolis Colts defense that has surrendered 30.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, the ninth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, they have given up 35.1 or more fantasy points in 60% of their matchups, including last week to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
More importantly, Hopkins has dominated the Colts in his career. He has 90 receptions for 1,268 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 15 matchups against Indianapolis. While fantasy players shouldn’t expect him to have a massive performance, the veteran is a solid WR3 option for Week 6, who can be added off the waiver wire.

While Hopkins is an appealing option this week, fantasy players shouldn’t hold onto him for the rest of the season. The veteran has averaged only 3.5 targets per game in 2024, seeing four or fewer in all but one contest. Similarly, he has scored 4.1 or fewer fantasy points in all but one game this year.
