ANALYSIS: Darren Waller was just starting to heat up when he got injured. The Giants tight end will now return to an offense with a rookie quarterback at the helm. With none of the wide receivers establishing themselves as the top target in the Giants passing attack, Waller could step into a large role as soon as he returns from injured reserve.
Let’s wait and see if Waller can go a game without pulling his hamstring before we put him at the top of our tight end shopping list this holiday season. If Waller gets through his Monday night game against the Green Bay Packers unscathed and looks like his old self, pick him up immediately if you need a TE for Week 15. Guys with back-to-back 1,000-yard years to their credit are not often available on waiver wires this late in the season. Waller could be a game-changer for your fantasy squad as a major addition, but he needs to be 100 percent.
