BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has been inconsistent this season. He is the TE18 for the year, averaging 7.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran has struggled to have week-winning performances, totaling more than 6.7 fantasy points in only two contests.
Goedert had zero receptions and fantasy points in the Week 1 win over the New England Patriots. He has been solid since that matchup, averaging 4.7 receptions on 6.1 targets for 48.9 receiving yards per game, totaling two touchdowns.
Last week, the veteran returned after missing three games because of a fractured forearm. Goedert had four receptions for 30 receiving yards, scoring five fantasy points in the loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He struggled despite playing 84% of the snaps.
Tomorrow, Goedert faces a Seattle Seahawks defense that has failed to slow down tight ends lately. Over the past two weeks, the Seahawks have surrendered 5.5 receptions for 84 receiving yards, one touchdown, and 17.2 fantasy points per game.
Fantasy players should trust Goedert as a low-end TE1 with significant upside. Expect Seattle to struggle once again to contain opposing tight ends.
