Goalkeepers

Top Pick

Jack Butland – Stoke City - $5,100

After begrudgingly sitting behind Asmir Begovic for several seasons, the 22 year-old Butland has firmly entrenched himself as one of the top young keepers in the EPL. The young Englishman, fresh off his second clean sheet of the season, is one of only two keepers active Saturday, averaging double digit points this season (10.2). His opponent this weekend, Watford, is last in the league with only six goals scored this season.

Value Pick

Boaz Myhill – West Bromwich Albion - $4,300

Myhill is still shockingly inexpensive considering he is currently tied for the league lead with five clean sheets. A reasonable explanation for the quandary could be West Brom’s horrid start to the season. However, since the return of Sadio Berahino the Baggies offense has taken new form, forcing opponents to play the squad more conservatively. Since its August 23rd sloppy loss to Chelsea, West Brom has made its way out of the relegation zone, winning three matches, all 1-0.

Defenders

Top Pick

Hector Bellerin – Arsenal - $5,200

Bellerin’s top-shelf cost may have out priced him to wary buyers, feeling as though the charge was more directly correlated to reputation than performance. As of late, the fullback has rewarded trusty owners, using his elite pace to register his first two assists of the season in consecutive matches.

Value Pick

Alan Nyom – Watford - $3,900

Nyom is an intriguing play this weekend when the Hornets host Stoke City. The Potters, despite winning its last three league matches, have been short on goals scored. Watford, despite its arid goal production, has been stellar at the back, giving this match very likely odds to finish in a nil-nil draw. In addition, Nyom has delivered 30 crosses this season, the fourth highest total among defenders, and good for one point a piece in Draft Kings leagues.

Midfielders

Top Pick

Dimitri Payet – West Ham United - $9,300

To find proof of West Ham’s ascension to the top end of the table one may need to look no further than Dimitri Payet. The Frenchman is tied for fifth in the league with five goals scored, adding three assists to boot. Payet is the engine that drives the Hammer’s offense, a unit that should have a field day against the still much-maligned defensive group at Chelsea.

Value Pick

Wes Hoolahan – Norwich - $4,600

Hoolahan should get the start after receiving some much-needed rest last week against Newcastle. Proving how important Hoolahan is to the Canary midfield, Norwich was thrashed 6-2. The Irishman’s low price is baffling considering his 8.1 points per game average. Hoolahan’s five assists are second in the league to only David Silva and Mesut Ozil, both of which are nearly double the cost.

Forwards

Top Pick

Jamie Vardy – Leicester - $9,800

STUD. Simply a stud. Vardy is leading the league with nine goals scored including eight in the past six games. The Englishman has produced 20-plus points in three consecutive weeks, a streak that could certainly continue as Vardy and the Foxes face the injury-ridden Eagles. Continue to put your money behind this thoroughbred until his performance drops off.

Value Pick

Sadio Berahino – West Bromwich Albion - $6,900

Berahino has scored in three of the past four games and seems to be rebounding quite nicely from his August transfer drama. Facing a Norwich squad that allowed six goals on Monday to bottom-dwelling Newcastle, Berahino is a safe bet to score yet again.
