RotoBallers, welcome back to our daily fantasy hockey (NHL DFS) lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings. Below you will find our NHL cheat sheet - DFS lineup picks, sleepers and stacks for Saturday, March 25 of the 2016/2017 NHL season.

Huge Saturday in the National Hockey League with 12 games. Two early matchups but more importantly 10 games on the main slate tonight. This is where we will be turning our attention.

There are just two teams(NYI, SJ) playing on a back to back night but four teams(CBJ, TOR, NYI, EDM) are playing their third game in four nights. Let's take a look at a top value play at each position and my stack of the night.

NHL Daily League Lineup Picks for Saturday, March 25

For those that are new to this, each day we'll be providing you with a few of our top DFS lineup picks for daily league cash games on FanDuel and DraftKings. Jack Eichel (C, BUF)

DraftKings - $7,100, FanDuel - $7,700

There are a lot of very popular plays(McDavid, Toews, Tavares) at the top of the salary that should open up an ownership opportunity for Jack Eichel tonight. He isn't just a GPP, however, as he has tallied 43 shots on goal over his last 10 games while adding six goals and 10 points, five of which have come on the powerplay. He is coming off a nine shot game and has also recorded 10 shots and three points in two games vs. the Leafs this season.

Artemi Panarin (W, CHI)

DraftKings - $6,600, FanDuel - $7,000

Another player that is safe in all formats due to his elite shot volume. Panarin's six-game point streak came to end but it shouldn't take long to get back on track as he has tallied 16 shots over his last three games. He plays on an elite line with Patrick Kane who is once again in the race for the Art Ross Trophy. His back to back games without a point might also drive some people away on a big slate.

Morgan Rielly (D, TOR)

DraftKings - $4,500, FanDuel - $4,300

Rielly provides excellent value at a mid $4K price tag tonight and gets a plus matchup vs. the Sabres 21st ranked defense. He has tallied 22 blocks and 23 shots on goal over his last 10 games which gives him a high floor for cash games and he also provides some offensive upside for GPP formats.

Stacking Option

Edmonton Oilers - Connor McDavid, Leon Draistail, Patrick Maroon

You would be making a mistake fading the Oilers down the stretch. The blew the back to back and third game in four nights narrative out of the water last time out blowing out the Avs 7-4 in Colorado and now get to face them at home. Just as Patrick Kane, Sidney Crosby, Nicklas Backstrom and Brad Marchand seen the light at the top of the points race, McDavid broke out with 11 points in his last five games to hold a five-point lead. Center your stack around him, obviously.

Bonus: General NHL DFS Strategy Notes

For cash games, look at players who can contribute to your score even when they are not providing offense. Some examples are guys who take a ton of shots and defensemen who block a lot of shots. Also, look for guys who get power play time. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury, or just get a promotion and more ice time. It is also recommended to spread out your exposure to three or four different lines, and not put all your eggs in one basket.

For large field tournaments (GPPs), find payers who have multi-point upside and can grab double-digit fantasy points. If you want to stack the most upside in your forwards, a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone - try and look for a defenseman who will get power play time, or a playing time boost due to an injury. For a contrarian approach, paying up at the defense position can be a great strategy - but it also comes with more risk. GPPs bring a great opportunity for goaltenders in the value price range - you can look for backups on good teams.
