FanDuel Week 17 Lineup Picks: David Johnson, Antonio Brown, Eli Manning, Eric Decker

This is the final week of the NFL regular season, and there are plenty of great FanDuel DFS options on this slate! Teams have clinched the playoffs, and some players are bound to be benched - so keeping an eye on that type of information will increase your opportunity to win immensely this week.

In this edition I will be headlining a few of my top plays on FanDuel for Week 17 of the daily fantasy football season.

These DFS lineup picks can range from the elite tier of players to a few guys that I feel are a bit overpriced on FanDuel. Let's get to it!

FanDuel DFS Quarterbacks for Week 17

Eli Manning (vs PHI, $7,500)

The Giants are playing for nothing but pride right now, but Manning gets a tremendous matchup against the Eagles this week. Philly has been dominated by quarterbacks for weeks now, and Manning will be getting Odell Beckham Jr. back this week. Manning has flashed great upside this season, and this is one of the best matchups he’ll get. The Eagles recently released Chip Kelly, which means they could play at a slightly slower pace, but Manning should still see plenty of opportunities this week, and he’s a great GPP option.

Kirk Cousins (at DAL, $7,700)

Monitor Cousins up until the game time because the Redskins aren’t playing for anything this week, and they may choose to bench him. With that being said, he has been on fire with nine total touchdowns in his last two games. He has thrown for 300+ yards in four of his last five games, and he has shown a great amount of both consistency and upside recently. The matchup against Dallas isn’t ideal, as they tend to slow the game down, but Cousins has been hot enough for all leagues if he plays four quarters this week.

FanDuel DFS Running Backs for Week 17

David Johnson (vs SEA, $7,700)

There is just no reason to avoid David Johnson right now. He is putting up tremendous fantasy numbers, as he’s an every down back. He can beat teams in multiple different ways, as he’s one of few backs that will touch the ball on early downs, third down, and at the goal line. The matchup against Seattle isn’t ideal, but the Cardinals could be looking to make a statement with this game, and Johnson is a great option for them. Even with his price increasing weekly, he can be used in all leagues.

Tim Hightower (at ATL, $7,000)

Hightower isn’t all that talented, but he’s receiving more than enough touches to continuously be hitting value. Since getting the starting job three weeks ago, Hightower has turned 75 total touches into 349 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hightower gets a great matchup against the Falcons, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL against running backs. Hightower isn’t all that expensive this week, and he can be used in all leagues, as he’s guaranteed big touches week in and week out.

FanDuel DFS Wide Receivers for Week 17

Antonio Brown (at CLE, $9,100)

Any time Brown isn’t the most expensive wide receiver on the slate, I have a hard time justifying not using him. He has tremendous upside, even though he also comes with a bit of risk. He’s a huge part of the Steelers offense, and they make it a point to get him the ball at least 5 times per week. He has good touchdown upside, as he’s averaging 8.2 receptions, 109.8 yards, and 0.6 touchdowns per week this season. He gets a great matchup against the Browns, who have been one of the worst secondaries in the NFL this season, and will be playing without Joe Haden. Brown can be used in all leagues, as the Steelers are playing for playoffs.

Eric Decker (at BUF, $7,400)

Decker has been Mr. Consistent this season, as he has scored between 10 and 20 fantasy points in each of his last 10 games. He isn’t the type of player that is going to win you a tournament, but he should be a staple in your cash game lineups. He has scored a touchdown in three consecutive games, and four of his last five games. The Bills haven’t played that well against receivers this season, and most of their focus will likely be on Brandon Marshall. The Jets have been throwing the ball much more recently, and Decker makes a great cash game play once again.

FanDuel DFS Tight Ends for Week 17

Jordan Reed (at DAL, $7,400)

The Redskins have been on fire recently, and Jordan Reed is a huge part of that. In his last three games, he has recorded 25 receptions for 333 yards and 5 touchdowns. He’s the top option for Kirk Cousins, and he is essentially matchup proof. Reed has always been one of the most talented tight ends in the league when he is healthy, and it looks like he’s fully healthy to end the season. Again, the Redskins may choose to bench their starters, so watch out for news before the game begins.

Zach Ertz (at NYG, $5,700)

Ertz has quietly been improving quite a bit recently. In his last two games, he has recorded 21 receptions for 200 yards and 1 touchdown. He has now seen 30 targets in his last two games, and his price hasn’t gone up very much. The Eagles recently fired Chip Kelly, but that likely won’t affect Zach Ertz much, and he can be used in all leagues for his price this week.
