Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Saturday 6/12

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 6/12/21. Mike Marteny identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to make up for Greinke getting thumped on Thursday, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

We have eight pitchers who are over 90% rostered and another seven that are above 50%. That leaves us half the starters to choose from on waivers today. Can any of them actually help us? Let's find out, but first we'll cover the hitters.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 6/12 - Shallow Leagues

Joc Pederson (OF, LHB, CHC) - 46.6% Rostered

Matchup: vs. STL RHP John Gant

Jonathan Schoop finally graduated from this list, so now we're back to Pederson. He is 6-13 with two homers, four RBi, and four runs scored in the last three games. We saw the wheels fall of for Gant in his last start. This isn't going to be any better on a warm day at Wrigley. Pederson is leading off and is starting to find his power stroke again. All you folks on Sheffield Avenue, look out!

Jed Lowrie (2B, RHB, OAK) - 42.6% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC RHP Jackson Kowar

Justin Upton graduated as well, so now we move on to Lowrie. He is hitting .450 with a homer, three runs, and four RBI in the last week, and that's after a series at Coors Field. Usually guys cool down coming out of the Rockies. Today he gets a rookie that didn't even make it out of the first inning in his first start and he's backed up by one of the worst bullpens in the league. Yep, we're A's hunting on waivers today.

Hunter Renfroe (OF, RHB, BOS) - 37.2% Rostered

Matchup: vs. TOR LHP Steven Matz

Renfroe has slowed down from his torrid stretch at the end of May, but that doesn't mean that this isn't still a good spot for him. Renfroe is still hitting .356 in the last fortnight and is hitting a robust .327 against lefties this year. After a strong start, Matz has had a rough go of it lately. He has allowed 14 runs (12 earned) over his last four starts. That's including the gem against the Yankees at the end of May. One of those starts was against Boston. He gave up five runs in six innings in that one. I'll trust a cooking Boston offense in Fenway against a struggling lefty any day.

Adam Duvall (OF, RHB, MIA) - 22.1% Rostered

Matchup: vs. ATL LHP Max Fried

Average isn't Duvall's game, but he has six hits in the last four games while homering twice and driving in seven runs. He is hitting cleanup for a Marlins offense that is finally getting going. They are hitting .260 in June and already have 13 homers after hitting just 45 in the first two months of the season.

Hitter Streamers for 6/12 - Deeper Leagues

Willy Adames (SS, RHB, MIL) - 17.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. PIT RHP Chad Kuhl

Yeah, I know, Willy Adames is still not a sexy name. However, that doesn't mean that he can't help your fantasy teams. After an absolutely horrid start in Tampa, Adames is hitting .303 with three homers, 13 RBI and eight runs scored in 19 games with the Brewers. Perhaps the biggest thing with Adames is the spike in OBP and OPS with the Brewers. Adames struck out a terrifying 51 times in 132 at bats with the Rays. He has only struck out 18 times in 68 at bats with Milwaukee. That's right, Adames has more hits than strikeouts as a Brewer. This is another good matchup for Adames if you need any kind of production from your middle infield.

J.P. Crawford (SS, LHB, SEA) - 16.9% Rostered

Matchup: at CLE RHP Triston McKenzie

The Seattle offense is starting to make some strides. The .234 average in June is already 35 points higher than May's mark and they have averaged five runs a game. Big deal, right? Well the Mariners scored just 96 runs in 28 May games, so yeah, it's kind of a big deal. Crawford has been a big part of that surge. He has taken over as the leadoff hitter and is hitting a robust .500 with a homer, six RBI, and five runs in the eight games. Maybe this continues. Maybe not, but it wont cost you anything to find out.

Miguel Andujar (OF, RHB, NYY) - 16.7% Rostered

Matchup: at PHI LHP Vince Velasquez

When was the last time you saw a Yankee starter this lowly owned in a fantasy league? The Bombers move onto another nice hitting park, but they lose the DH in Philly, so stay tuned to the lineups. I tend to think Andujar will still be in there on the heels of his current .368 average with two homers, three RBI, and six runs scored this week. This is a potent lineup against a fly ball pitcher. I want some pieces of this.

Jake Fraley (OF, LHB, SEA) - 7% Rostered

Matchup: at CLE RHP Triston McKenzie

Fraley is hitting .333 with a homer, six RBI, four runs scored, and a pair of steals in the last week. That's right. Steals. The waiver wire's unicorn. Fraley is part of an offense that is hitting well right now. McKenzie has given up at least five runs in three of his last four starts. He has also walked at least two in every start this season. He's wild and has a 6.26 ERA. Fire up some Mariners!

Pitcher Streamer for 6/12 - Shallow Leagues

Wade Miley (LHP, CIN) - 45.7% rostered

Matchup: vs. Colorado

Cincinnati has some of the best hitting weather of the day. That still doesn't mean the Rockies can hit on the road. Miley has given up just two runs in his last three starts combined while picking up 16 strikeouts in 15.2 innings. The start before that? He got blistered in Coors, giving up eight runs in three innings. If it weren't for that start, Miley's ERA would be much better than the 2.96  it currently sits at. The Rockies are hitting just .201 on the road and have won just five times in 30 tries. Miley is a streamer's dream today.

James Kaprielian (RHP, OAK) - 31.8% rostered

Matchup: vs. Kansas City

The first five starts of Kaprielian's career have gone pretty well. He holds a 3.08 ERA and has struck out 28 in 26.1 innings. Hell, he even turned in a good start at Coors Field, allowing two runs in five innings. He has done a good job of limiting homers and has induced a lot more ground balls lately. The only real gripe about Kaprielian is his generosity with free passes. He has walked 12 batters in five starts. That needs to come down. Now the good news: the Royals are hitting just .226 on the road and only walk 9% of the time against right-handed pitching. Things are looking good for Kaprielian tonight.

Pitcher Streamers for 6/12 - Deeper Leagues

Caleb Smith (RHP, ARI) - 13.2% rostered

Matchup: vs. Angels

It looks like Smith will stick in the Arizona rotation thanks to allowing just three runs over two starts. The eight strikeouts in Milwaukee last weekend were a nice touch as well. The Angels are starting to hit again, but not enough to move me off of Smith. They have just faced some bad pitching staffs in the Royals and Mariners. Smith likely wont go more than five innings again since he doesn't see to be stretched out, but he can help your strikeouts and ratios in that time.
