Corey Davis is a 2021 fantasy football draft sleeper at wide receiver and an ADP draft value. Target Davis as an undervalued WR in fantasy football drafts.

ANALYSIS: As soon as Corey Davis appeared to reward fantasy managers for their patience, he switched teams. Last season, Davis set career highs in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns, and catch percentage. Davis missed just two games and was the WR31 in 2020. Now, we get to see Davis try to replicate his success on one of the most unproven teams in the league, the Jets.
Davis steps in as the projected alpha receiver in a receiving room full of veterans and young prospects (Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole, Denzel Mims and Elijah Moore). Clearly, there are many mouths to feed in this offense and they also have a rookie QB in Zach Wilson and a rookie Head Coach in Robert Saleh at the helm. Thankfully, one of fantasy's most famous sayings can be applied here: follow the money.
Last offseason, despite the decreased cap space in the NFL, Davis managed to sign a relatively long-term deal for substantial money. Davis' three-year $38 million deal was the second-largest deal per year given out to receivers this offseason (behind only Kenny Golladay). The team wanted to secure Davis this offseason. Following the trend of teams surrounding their young QBs with talent, the Jets have done just that. Davis is arguably the most talented and proven receiver on this team.
New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis lit up the Green Bay Packers defense during their last preseason contest. Davis hauled in 4-of-6 targets for 70 yards in the victory over Green Bay. It appears Davis and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson are building significant chemistry together. Davis is 10-of-13 during the preseason, looking like a target hog for Wilson, and should find a way to have at least WR3 value in New York.
When you get to the middle-to-late round of fantasy drafts, Davis is a great option to target, especially in PPR leagues. He may continue to see significant volume on this offense, especially if the Jets are losing games and throwing often to try and get back in it. Consider Davis a strong value at his current ADP, and can return much more fantasy value than it costs to draft him.
