CBB DFS: Late DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/5/24)

Aden Holloway - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/5/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

It's Super Tuesday and DraftKings is backing up that billing. We have 16 games across two slates with a nice split of 10 games and a six-game nightcap. We've gone over the main slate. The six-game nightcap is a delight full of ACC and Mountain West action to take us into the wee hours of tomorrow.

We begin the slate with Auburn in CoMo to face Missouri. St. John's heads to Chicago to take on DePaul. Florida State is in Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers. The Bees head up to Carolina for a date with Wake. We close this slate out with a night Mountain West duo of San Diego State in Sin City to take on UNLV and Nevada in Boise to take on the Broncos.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/5/24, starting at 9 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Sean East II, Missouri ($7.9K)

Missouri still hasn't won a conference game, but it's not for lack of trying. They are putting scares into everyone, including Tennessee. East is a big reason why. He is averaging 25.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 0.2 steals in five games since his return from a knee injury. It's not just because of one or two big games either. East has at least 29 DraftKings points in all five of them. If Missouri can hang with Tennessee and East can have a strong game against them (37 DraftKings points), he can do it against Auburn.

Kyle Sturdivant, Georgia Tech ($6.1K)

Sturdivant is finally getting on track. He has scored in double figures in four straight games. In that span, Sturdivant is averaging 15.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 0.8 steals per game. Georgia Tech has won three of those four games. It's not a coincidence. This team runs better when Sturdivant does. He was abysmal in the first game against Wake, scoring just three points in 18 minutes of court time. I'll trust his recent hot streak a little more than that game nearly a month ago.

Primo Spears, Florida State ($5.5K)

Spears didn't become eligible until the mid-December court ruling. His production has been sporadic at best. However, he is finally turning it on when it matters most. Spears has 71.5 DraftKings points over the last three games in 69 minutes. His minutes still aren't up to where they were at Georgetown, but he has acclimated to his role on his new team and is starting to thrive. He is scoring efficiently and showing off those passing skills that got him noticed at Georgetown.

Hunter McIntosh, Nevada ($4.4K)

The prognosis on Kenan Blackshear is better this week, but that's only because he wasn't spotted in a walking boot. His true status is still unknown. If McIntosh is part of the starting lineup again, he's a bargain. McIntosh has 44 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in three games filling in for Blackshear. If Blackshear is back, I recommend looking elsewhere. McIntosh was only playing about 12 minutes per game before Blackshear went down. Daniel Foster would be a solid value guard for the Pack instead.

Also consider: Jarod Lucas, Nevada ($7.8K); Carlton Carrington, Pittsburgh ($7.5K); Jalen Terry, DePaul ($7.1K); Chibuzo Agbo, Boise State ($6.9K); Tamar Bates, Missouri ($6.5K); Jaden Henley, DePaul ($5.8K); Denver Jones, Auburn ($5.3K); Daniel Foster, Nevada ($4.7K); Chico Carter Jr., DePaul ($4.5K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($9K)

There is a lot of talent on this team once again, but LeDee seems like the only reliable one for DFS purposes. LeDee has at least 30 DraftKings points in five straight games and seven of the last eight contests. He hasn't been under 23 DraftKings points on the year. Not many players can say that. LeDee hung 39.25 on UNLV the first time around, notching a double-double in that contest. Something can be said for paying for old reliable.

Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($8K)

The Broncos are closing strong and look like a lock for the NCAA Tournament. That's in large part thanks to Degenhart. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in every game since the beginning of February. The Broncos first played Nevada back on January 12, but Degenhart had one of his best games of the year in that one. He put up 40.75 DraftKings points and fell one rebound shy of a double-double in the win in Reno. Don't be surprised if he comes close to that output again.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($6.9K)

Ndongo had his best game since the Diamond Head Classic against Florida State over the weekend with 15 points and 14 rebounds in only 24 minutes because of foul trouble. The freshman still has bouts of inconsistency and not all of it is due to fouls. However, that was the second double-double in the last two weeks for Ndongo. He's finally back on track. His kind of upside is hard to find at the price, but the low floor makes him best for GPP lineups.

Glenn Taylor Jr., St. John's ($4.6K)

Taylor had faded away on the St. John's bench, playing just 37 minutes combined in the first six games of February. Then something changed. Taylor has started the last two games against Creighton and Butler and piled up 63.25 DraftKings points. The Red Storm are in danger of falling out of the tournament field, so they need all the help they can get. It's just a bonus for us when the "help" comes in the form of a drastically underpriced player.

Also consider: Jamir Watkins, Florida State ($8.4K); Joel Soriano, St. John's ($7.8K); Tre Coleman, Nevada ($7.2K); Efton Reid III, Wake Forest ($6.7K); Cam Corhen, Florida State ($6.2K); Tafara Gapare, Georgia Tech ($5.6K); Churchill Abass, DePaul ($5.2K); Chaney Johnson, Auburn ($4.9K); Aidan Shaw, Missouri ($4.5K)
