ANALYSIS: New York Jets rookie running back Braelon Allen enjoyed a breakout game last weekend as he ran the ball seven times for 33 yards and a score. He added two catches for 23 yards and another score through the air.
This was a nice improvement for the Wisconsin product, who saw just one rushing attempt and one target in the season opener.
In addition, in Week 1, he logged just eight snaps, while in Week 2, he logged 20, which tied Breece Hall.

Fantasy managers should still expect Hall to see the vast majority of attempts, but seeing Allen already begin to emerge is quite promising.
Given the uncertainty in his volume, Allen should only be viewed as a low-end flex in 14+ team leagues for now. However, if he continues to see at least ten touches every week, he could emerge in a solid flex play in all formats.
