Boston Scott is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 13 of the 2021 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Look, we have consumed 12 weeks of games already. In other words, we're past the second-third of the season. With that good chunk of play already in the rearview mirror, call me crazy but I think it's safe to assume Philadelphia hates RB Miles Sanders for some reason and that won't change ROS. Jordan Howard benefited for a couple of weeks while Sanders stayed out injured, but then Howard got banged up himself and Sanders returned... only for Boston Scott to be the leading man even with MS back. And we can't hate that.

Sanders played for the last time in Week 7 before returning to play the last two games for the Eagles. The truth is, he'd widely underperformed before that W7 injury-shortened outing never hitting more than 10.1 PPR points in any of the prior five games and doing so only once to kick the season off in W1 (17.3). And he's now put up back-to-back 7.4 PPR tallies in W11 and W12. Boston Scott, on the other hand, has four games (starting to count in W7 as he only played 3 snaps prior to that in W3) of his six played in which he at least reached 9.9 PPR points.
Scott's snap share has gone up three consecutive weeks from 37% to 51% and 66% last Sunday, while Sanders has gone from 46% in his W11 comeback to 33% this past weekend. Ugh. Boston Scott has finished inside the top-21 RBs in two of the last three weeks going back to W10 and he's coming off a 13.2-PPR performance in which he rushed the ball a season-high 15 times for 64 yards and his fourth TD of the year. He also caught 2-of-3 passes for 8 yards against the Giants. This backfield is a little bit messy but Scott has proved to be the most capable/steady back in it so it makes sense to roster him at least in slightly deeper formats.
