Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

Joshua Kelley Struggles In Week 5

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Joshua Kelley struggled on Monday versus the New Orleans Saints. Many expected the rookie to the start with Austin Ekeler (hamstring) sidelined, but the Chargers elected to go with Justin Jackson. The workload in the backfield was pretty even and Kelley had 11 rushes compared to 15 for Jackson. […]

Justin Jackson Performs Well On Monday Night

On Monday against the New Orleans Saints with Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (hamstring) sidelined, it was expected that rookie running back Joshua Kelley would be the main beneficiary, with Justin Jackson also getting in the mix. Jackson rushed 15 times compared to 11 for Kelley and looked like the better running back in […]

The rookie was only passed for 264 yards, but threw four touchdowns and was 20-for-34 on the evening. He also picked up eight yards on four rushes. Herbert was slowed down in the second half, […]

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams returned from a hamstring injury and produced five catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in the Monday night overtime loss to the Saints. Keenan Allen Ruled Out

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (back) has been ruled out for the rest of Monday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Allen came into the contest on fire and caught two balls for 29 yards and a touchdown before exiting in the first half. More should be known on […]

Travis Kelce Records 8 Grabs

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce led the team with eight catches for 108 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s loss versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Kelce was coming off of a poor performance from his standards in Week 4, but more than made up for it in Week 5. Kelce along with wide […]

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Held In Check

Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire had a frustrating afternoon against the Las Vegas Raiders in a Week 5 loss. CEH was held to just 40 rushing yards on 10 carries and also hauled in three receptions for 40 yards. The Raiders defense was very good in the second half and it showed […]

Tyreek Hill Scores Another Touchdown

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has now scored a touchdown in five consecutive games. Mahomes did throw for 340 yards, two touchdowns and ran for a rushing touchdown. Mahomes also converted a two-point conversion, but was just 22-for-43 on the afternoon. The Raiders defense did a really good […]

Travis Kelce Looks To Bounce Back Versus Raiders

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will look to give the Las Vegas Raiders defense trouble in Week 5. The Raiders defense has struggled for the most part this season, but they have held opposing tight ends to just 11 receptions, 100 yards and touchdown in four games. Kelce, of course is a different […]

Tyreek Hill Will Look To Keep Touchdown Streak Alive In Week 5

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill will look to score in his fifth consecutive game of the season in Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Hill couldn't have asked for a better opponent to try to keep his streak alive, as the Raiders are allowed 250 yards in the air over their first […]

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Set Up For Big Week

Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is set up for a big Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The rookie has become a bell cow out of the Chiefs backfield and has helped in both the run and pass game. This sets him up nicely against the Raiders defense which has allowed […]

Patrick Mahomes In Line For A Strong Week

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is set up to have a dominant Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The former MVP should be started every week of the season by managers, but those in DFS should take note that the Raiders have allowed have 30 points per game and 388.8 total yards per […]

Hunter Henry Seeks First Touchdown Versus Saints

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry will look to continue his solid start of the season against the New Orleans Saints in Week 5. Keenan Allen Will Look To Continue Strong Start In Week 5

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen looks to continue his strong season in a tough battle against the New Orleans Saints. Allen has been an absolute target machine since rookie Justin Herbert has been behind center and has 41 targets with 28 catches, 294 yards and a touchdown over the past three weeks. The […]

Justin Jackson Should See Fair Share Of Action In Week 5

Los Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson should be expected to see a good amount of action against the New Orleans Saints with Austin Ekeler (hamstring) sidelined. Rookie running back Joshua Kelley has been the primary backup for Ekeler and is likely to get the start in Week 5. Jackson has had a slow start […]

Joshua Kelley Should See Expanded Role In Week 5

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Joshua Kelley is lined up to see an increase in his workload with Austin Ekeler (hamstring) sidelined in a Week 5 battle against the New Orleans Saints. Sammy Watkins Catches Four Balls In Week 4

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught four passes for 43 yards in Week 4 against the New England Patriots. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman caught all four of his targets for 27 yards and a touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 4. Travis Kelce Hauls In Three Catches

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was held to three catches in Week 4 against the New England Patriots. The good news is that he picked up 70 yards. The Patriots have dominated against the tight end position this season and it’s no surprise that Kelce didn’t breakout in this matchup. Kelce still put […]
