Should I start Alec Pierce, Parker Washington, Jameson Williams for Week 10? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.
Week 9 is finally behind us, and so is the 2025 NFL trade deadline. Now, we're in the second half of the season, and start/sit decisions will be more crucial than ever for fantasy football managers.
Luckily for you, RotoBaller is here to help. Today, we will cover Alec Pierce, Parker Washington, and Jameson Williams. Pierce had one of the best games of his career against the Steelers, putting up 115 yards in a loss. Washington continued his breakout with a 90-yard game in a win against the Raiders, and Williams found the endzone against the Vikings following a "goose egg" in Week 7. These three are all looking to have big games to build momentum for the rest of the season.
Without further ado, let's look at my fantasy outlook for each player and determine whether they're worth starting in Week 10 of the 2025 season.

Should I Start Alec Pierce in Week 10?
Despite missing two games this season due to a concussion, Pierce is having a career year and is making a good case for becoming a Pro Bowler for the first time in his career.

Pierce is leading the league in yards per reception among qualified players for the second consecutive season and had his best game of the season in Week 9. Despite the loss, Pierce caught six of his 13 targets for 115 yards, and momentum is on his side.
He's also in a great mood following the trade deadline, as his former Cincinnati Bearcats teammate, Sauce Gardner, was traded to the Colts at the deadline.
Pierce is currently ranked as RotoBaller's WR36, and he's looking to score his first touchdown of the year against the Falcons this week.
Atlanta's defense is showing some signs of weakness, as DeMario Douglas went off for 100 yards and a touchdown against them last week, while Jaylen Waddle had 99 yards and also scored a touchdown in Week 8. Pierce is a great WR3 option for Week 10.
Should I Start Parker Washington in Week 10?
The Jaguars' receiving room is banged up, as Brian Thomas Jr. is dealing with an ankle injury while Travis Hunter is on Injured Reserve. Not all hope is lost, however, as Parker Washington has stepped up in a big way in the Jaguars' last two games.
Washington has caught 12 of his 19 targets for 142 yards since Week 7, and has averaged 13.6 PPR points, which ranks 26th among all WRs during that span.
But the Jakobi Meyers trade makes things a little more complicated. Dyami Brown is back at practice following his concussion, and if Thomas also plays this week, the trio of BTJ, Meyers, and Brown could push Washington out of fantasy relevance against the dominant Texans defense.
Should I Start Jameson Williams in Week 10?
Jameson Williams has all the tools to become an All-Pro, but his maddening inconsistencies have prevented that from happening. After recording 214 yards in his first four games, Williams only had one catch for nine yards against the weak Bengals defense in Week 5.

He redeemed himself by scoring a touchdown in a 66-yard outing against the Chiefs, but laid a "goose egg" in Week 7 against the Bucs. He once again had a 66-yard, one-touchdown performance in his next game against the Vikings to give his fantasy managers some hope.
On paper, this should be a very easy game for Williams. The Commanders have allowed the fourth-most passing yards in the league so far this season, and opposing quarterbacks have had a sparkling 110.7 passer rating when playing against them.
However, nothing is for certain with Williams. He has a WR1 ceiling this week, but his five games with fewer than 7.0 PPR points should be a huge red flag. His inconsistencies push him down to a WR3/Flex option in Week 10.
