The Chicago Bears hired former Indianapolis Colts safeties coach Alan Williams as their new defensive coordinator on Wednesday, according to sources. Williams is following head coach Matt Eberflus, who was the Colts defensive coordinator. Chicago also hired Dave Borgonzi, who was the Colts linebackers coach the last four seasons. Williams has 29 years of coaching experience, 20 of which have come in the NFL. Under defensive coordinator Sean Desai last season, the Bears finished sixth in the league by allowing 5,384 yards, but they were only 22nd in the NFL in scoring, allowing 23.9 points per game. The Colts finished 16th in yards allowed (5,834) and were tied for ninth in points allowed (21.5).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
