DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/2/21)

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for 11/2/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

Do you feel that? The chill in the air means football nearly every day of the week once we hit November. November is here and so is MACtion! The ten teams from the conference that didn't play last week in the MAC will play on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Tuesday gives us the larger slate with three games. Due to the small slates that we have leading up to the weekend, I'm going to do my spreads picks and DFS picks in the same article. You know, to be more efficient.

We start off Tuesday MACtion with Akron hosting Ball State. The two other games kick off a half-hour later with Eastern Michigan heading to Toledo and Ohio hosts Miami of Ohio in the Battle of the Bricks.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/2/21 locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

CFB Betting Picks 11/2:

Ball State(-19.5) at Akron

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 1

I like the skill players on the Ball State offense, but that defense is a problem. For the life of me, I can't understand how the Cardinals got blown out by a Wyoming team that lost to New Mexico, yet they beat Western Michigan by 25 points. The only common denominator so far for these two is Miami of Ohio. Ball State lost by a touchdown. Akron lost by two touchdowns. Akron is not a good team by any stretch of the imagination, but Miami isn't a great barometer either. The Zips struggle with good offenses. I'll take Ball State, but I doubt I'll bet this.

Eastern Michigan at Toledo(-8.5)

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2

I love Bryant Koback, but I loathe picking his team. Toledo is all over the map and not in a good way. These teams have both played UMass (lucky them!). One covered. One did not. Give me Toledo.

Miami(OH)(-7.5) at Ohio

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2

The Redhawks have not lost the Battle of the Bricks since 2017, winning the last two meetings by a total of five points. In fact, Miami hasn't beaten Ohio by more than a touchdown since 2005. Ohio is mimicking Nebraska. They have made an art out of losing one-score games. They lost to Duquesne by two, Central Michigan by three, Buffalo by one, and Kent by a touchdown. I really have no reason to believe Miami will cover this in a rivalry. Give me Ohio.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Dequan Finn, Toledo ($7,800)

Finn is mostly a glorified running back. His passing skills are not yet developed as proven by his sub-50% completion percentage in two of his three starts. That's not to say that he hasn't been good. Finn hasn't thrown an interception in 102 pass attempts and has thrown for four touchdowns in three starts. Finn's ability to stretch plays has opened up the Toledo offense, and despite his inaccuracy, Finn has not committed one turnover this year. He's fairly low risk since we don't get docked for incomplete passes.

Drew Plitt, Ball State ($7,100)

Plitt isn't the lock that he was all of last year in MAC games. He has had some real clunkers this year. The lack of a consistent run game is part of the problem. This offense is going to get a chance to feel good about themselves for a few hours on tonight. Akron's defense is almost catastrophically bad. Plitt has all of our favorite receivers from last year. He has never had the privilege of playing Akron – Ball State hasn't played them since 2017 – so he's going to make the most of it here.

Also consider: Brett Gabbert, Miami-OH ($7,400); Ben Bryant, Eastern Michigan ($6,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Bryant Koback, Toledo ($7,900)

Koback has only broken the century mark twice this season. One of those wasn't even against UMass! Surprisingly, one was against Notre Dame. Eastern Michigan has given up at least 100 rushing yards to every team they've played this year. Finn is taking some of the work from Koback. So is Micah Kelly. Still, there is a lot of upside against the Eagles in a game that should remain a positive game script for Toledo.

Jonzell Norris, Akron ($5,300)

Right now, the Zips are just throwing things at the field and seeing what sticks. One of those would appear to be Norris. After getting a solid share of the carries in the first month of the season, Norris battled nagging injuries and the dreaded coach's doghouse to rise like a phoenix against Buffalo. Norris gained 155 yards on just 11 carries against the Bulls, much of it in garbage time. Still, Akron is looking for any spark they can get. I can't help but think that Norris will get carries at a more meaningful time in this one even if he doesn't start.

O'Shaan Allison, Ohio ($4,500)

De'Montre Tuggle is the unquestioned lead back for the Bobcats. This situation is further muddled by two good runners themselves playing quarterback. Still, Allison is the back that is in the game for most third down plays. He get a lot of tough yards, but more importantly, he is the leading receiver among the Bobcats backs. Allison has a decent floor due to the receptions, but his upside isn't all that high.

Also consider: Carson Steele, Ball State ($6,000); Keyon Mozee, Miami-OH ($4,800); Blake Hester, Akron ($3,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Justin Hall, Ball State ($8,100)

Wyoming is the only team that has kept Hall under double-digits in DraftKings points. When Miami-Ohio shut down Hall in the receiving game last week, the Cardinals gave him carries out of the backfield. Hall has nine carries over the last two games! Just the fact that the Cardinals make a concerted effort to get Hall the ball in any way possible makes him a solid selection when spending up.

Dylan Drummond, Eastern Michigan ($6,800)

The Eastern Michigan run game has been pretty ugly for much of the season, but they have done well through the air. Drummond has at least five receptions in five straight games, racking up at least 15 DraftKings points in each of those games. The Eagles are going to need to throw and throw well to hang around with Toledo. Expect Drummond to be heavily involved for the EMU offense. Miami of Ohio is the only team to keep him out of the end zone Since Week 3.

Yo'Heinz Tyler, Ball State ($5,300)

Come for the name, stay for the touchdowns. Tyler has four of them in the last four games. He's still the number two receiver in this offense even with Jayshon Jackson putting up big numbers against Miami of Ohio a couple of weeks ago. All Ball State receivers are in play here, but I'm really liking the discount on Tyler.

Isiah Cox, Ohio ($4,200)

Cox had a season-high seven receptions against Kent when Kurtis Rourke came in under center. Will Rourke be there again? That's anyone's guess. Armani Rogers has been siphoning snaps in every game, and it will likely depend on if Ohio needs to pass or not. If the Bobcats fall behind in this one, Cox could end up having another nice game. Ohio receivers are nothing more than GPP darts at this point.

Also consider: Jack Sorenson, Miami-OH ($8,400); Konata Mumpfield, Akron ($7,200); Devin Maddox, Toledo ($5,000); Mac Hippenhammer, Miami-OH ($4,900);
