ANALYSIS: After missing three games entirely--virtually four, as he could only throw four passes back in Week 2--Tua Tagovailoa was back on the field on early Sunday playing in London. And oh, boy, did he look great coming back to face the Jaguars on international soil after such a dry spell.
All Tua did on Sunday was finish with 22.4 fantasy points... that would have gone for a QB1 finish in all weeks already played this season. That's correct. Tua came back from the shelf straight into a top-tier finish at the position, and it's not that he lucked into it. He threw 47 rocks, connected on 33 of those times for 329 yards, and tossed two touchdowns against one interception. Oh, and he added a spicy 22 rushing yards on 3 carries through the game.
Backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett was good for what he is, a veteran no. 2 pocket manager. Even if Tua only improves a bit over what Brissett did in his three games starting (QB13, QB25, and QB19 finishes) we'd be talking about a bonafide low-end QB1/high-end QB2. In other words, and with the Bye weeks already factored into fantasy league moves, getting Tua into your roster looks like a must-do move in most deep leagues out there (let alone 2QB/Superflex formats) and even some shallower ones if you're streaming the position--Tua could easily be a QB1 ROS for everyone.
