Reynaldo Lopez Starting On Saturday
Reynaldo Lopez will make his first spring start on Saturday against the Cleveland Indians. Lopez has a crucial spring training ahead as he's currently competing for a spot in the White Sox starting rotation to open the year. His primary competitors for rounding out the rotation are Dylan Cease and Carlos Rodon. Lopez struggled through his eight starts in 2020. He posted a 6.49 ERA and 1.633 WHIP while averaging 8.2 K/9. He'll need a strong spring to give himself a chance for some early season starts.
