Colts running back (RB) Nyheim Hines is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: You can't put it in other terms: the Colts backfield is a goddam mess. And as incredible as it sounds, Nyheim Hines is the tailback eating the most lately. I'm glad it's going that way, though, as I've been a Hines stan for long and he's finally making haters eat crow big time.
In the past three weeks, we've witnessed the ascension of Jordan Wilkins over rookie Jonathan Taylor. That has been cool and all, but Wilkins has yet to beat Hines in fantasy points (he hasn't done so in the last three games). And it is not that Hines has just been a pass-catching back during those three games: he only logged 5 and 2 rushing attempts in Weeks 8 and 9, but he led the backfield with 12 rushes (to Taylor's 7 and Wilkin's 8) this past Thursday.
Hines racked up 70 rushing yards, scored a TD on the ground, and of course added 45 more yards on 5-of-6 receptions with another touchdown through the air. The do-it-all rusher/pass-catcher went all the way up to 28.5 PPR points on the game against Tennessee, by far his best mark of the season (he got to 21.2 points in Week 8 but put up a dud of 5.8 points in Week 9).
It is hard to know if this usage pattern will remain or flip completely next week, but the matchup can't be better. Green Bay is the second-worst team at stopping fantasy RBs, and after that Indy will face four more teams (leading up to W15 included) ranked in the bottom-eight in that same category. Get Hines in your roster as soon as you can, as he could very well carry (no pun intended) your team to Championship Sunday.
