New York Jets head coach Adam Gase was asked if he wanted All-Pro safety Jamal Adams on the team in 2020. "Yes, I want Jamal on our team," Gase said. Adams has been in an ongoing contract dispute with the team and requested a trade last week. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams made similar comments on Thursday. Adams wants to be paid like a top defender in the league and wants a new deal before the 2020 season, but the Jets are in no rush to make a move, as they have Adams under contract for another two seasons. Gang Green hasn't given the 24-year-old permission to seek out a trade. He has made two Pro Bowls and one All-Pro team and will make $3.6 million this year and $9.9 million in 2021. It remains to be seen if the two sides will reconcile, but either way, Adams is the top fantasy defensive back in IDP leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
