Dallas Stars forward Joe Pavelski recorded a pair of power-play goals as his team defeated the New York Rangers 5-3 at Madison Square Garden on Monday. The 35-year-old found the back of the net twice in a span of 16 seconds in the opening frame to help get his team out to an early lead. Pavelski, who now has goals in consecutive contests, also recorded a team-high four shots on goal and a block in 17:36 of ice time in the victory. It's certainly been a trying first year for the long-time Shark in Dallas this season as he's only logged 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists), seven power-play points and 97 shots on goal through 52 games. He'll look to build some momentum in his next game versus the Islanders on Tuesday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
