ANALYSIS: The Bears offense isn't one to trust this year with Mitchell Trubisky leading it, but somehow Taylor Gabriel has been able to perform to a rather high level considering his environment. Being honest, Trubisky was able to complete quite a nice game in Week 10 and Gabriel did enough to finish the game with his second-best performance of the season.

Gabriel racked up 39 yards on just four receptions in this past weekend’s game and was one of the Bears to score a touchdown. At the end of the day, the box score showed 13.8 fantasy points next to his name, his highest score since the massive three-touchdown game he had in Week 3 before missing the next three weeks. With this performance, Gabriel now is in a three-game streak of getting at least nine fantasy points and, in real-life terms, 53-plus yards or a touchdown in each of his last three games.

Chicago faces a better defense next (Los Angeles Rams, 14th against opposing WRs in points per game allowed to the position), but they will go against the Giants (28th) and the Lions (22nd) after that. Those three games combined look promising for Gabriel if he maintains his role in the Bears attack. Again, it is hard to trust Trubisky to put on good games weekly and to pass for multiple touchdowns often, but he’s shown he’s capable of it so Gabriel should keep putting up numbers. He is a good flex option for the final part of the fantasy season leading up to the playoffs in Week 14 but he’s probably droppable by then as the Bears will be facing the second-, ninth-, and fifth-best defenses from weeks 14 to 16.
