FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (7/26/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Tonight's main slate starts at 7:05pm eastern, with an all day slate just before at 6:40pm. The main slate covers 14 of Friday's 15 games, so we've got lots of action tonight.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/26/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Be sure to also check out all the Vegas Odds for today's slate. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Luis Castillo - CIN vs COL - $10,600

Castillo has put together a phenomenal season, entering tonight's start with a 28.8% K-rate and a 2.36 ERA. He's got an outstanding matchup against the Rockies, who are an awful lineup away from home - their .280 wOBA on the road is second-lowest in all of the league. They've also got a 27.8% K-rate outside of Coors, so Castillo easily has double-digit strikeout potential in this start. Castillo can fill the role of a high upside GPP arm as well as a safe cash game investment, so he's worth playing in any contest where you're comfortable spending at starting pitcher.

Joey Lucchesi - SDP vs SFG - $7,100

Lucchesi is a buy low after a disastrous outing against the Cubs where he allowed six runs. He's a much more attractive play at home in a pitcher-friendly park against a lowly Giants lineup that has just a .283 wOBA versus left-handed pitching. Lucchesi's 3.98 FIP suggests that he is still a useful starter, and this is the perfect matchup and price to make him someone worth targeting.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

1B - Nate Lowe - TAM at TOR- $2,700

Lowe hasn't started lately because the Rays have faced a string of left-handers, but he'll be back in the cleanup spot as they face a righty in Jacob Waguespack, who has a 5.68 ERA in the majors this year. Lowe has done nothing but rake since being recalled to the bigs, as he's batting .283 with a 1.063 OPS over the last month. He's in a hitter-friendly park and needs to be considered at such a low price.

2B - Ozzie Albies - ATL at PHI - $3,200

As always, second base is the weakest position on the slate and is a great spot to save payroll on a value bat. Albies has been cold lately but has the chance to break out against Jake Arrieta, owner of a 4.95 FIP, in a hitter's park in Philadelphia. Swanson may be held out again with an injury, which would put Albies in a valuable position batting second. Even if he's back in the six-hole, Albies can have a productive night if the Braves lineup does lots of damage.

3B - Justin Turner - LAD at WAS - $3,800

It's not often that you can realistically stack the Dodgers lineup, but Friday night is an opportunity to do so. Nats starter Anibal Sanchez has outperformed his 5.13 SIERA and is in line for regression. Turner is batting .304 with four homers over the last two weeks, and he's in a spot to rack up counting stats batting third. He can be used along side his cheaper teammates in an enticing stack.

SS - Jonathan Villar - BAL at LAA - $3,000

Villar is coming off of a thrilling performance last night where he stole three bases and homered in Baltimore's 16 inning win. His ability to contribute in both power and speed, with 12 homers and 20 steals this season, is rare out of a player you can get for so cheap. Of course, he's also batting leadoff against a pitching staff that's taxed from last night (or this morning's?) marathon. Watch for Villar to pop off again.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Michael Conforto - NYM vs PIT - $3,500

Conforto is best deployed against righties, as he's smashing them to a tune of a 140 wRC+ this year. He and the Mets are about to give Pirates starter Dario Agrazal, who has nearly as many walks (10) as he does strikeouts (12). Agrazal and his 5.15 FIP won't be holding up for long, so look for Conforto to contribute runs and RBI out of the Mets second spot.

Lorenzo Cain - MIL vs CHC - $3,300

Cain is an outfielder to target in cash games for his high floor as the Brewers leadoff hitter. He will be able to maximize the number of plate appearances he gets, which means he will have more chances to get on base and score runs. Cain has looked much better in the last 15 days, batting .302 with two steals and two homers.
