Garrett Cooper Leaves Early Again Thursday
Garrett Cooper (triceps) left the game early on Thursday with left triceps tightness. It's the same injury that caused him to be scratched from the lineup on Wednesday. Cooper is considered day-to-day. The 28-year-old had a double and a run scored before leaving the contest. Injuries continue to be his biggest issue, but Cooper has become relevant in deep mixed leagues of late while swinging a hot bat. He has his slash line up to .313/.385/.496 with six long balls, 26 runs and 21 RBI in 148 plate appearances. As long as he's playing everyday, he's useful in most NL-only leagues as well.
