DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/10/19): MLB DFS Lineups

Monday's slate of Major League Baseball has nine games on tap, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. Be sure to double-check the weather and the lineups before finalizing your roster.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/10/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too.

If you have any questions or comments, contact me on Twitter @danieledobish.

Today's Weather

The first meeting in the annual Subway Series might be pushed back. The forecast calls for an 80 percent chance of precipitation in the Bronx, holding steady through the evening. A reschedule to Tuesday for a day-night doubleheader might not be optimal, but should mean both games get played. There is rain in the forecast in the City of Brotherly Love, too, as the Diamondbacks and Phillies face the prospect of a 60 percent chance of showers potentially postponing that contest. It's a good idea to avoid both of these games for DFS purposes, as a general rule of thumb is not to set and forget your lineup with an MLB outdoor venue facing a 30 percent or greater chance of precipitation.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Joe Musgrove - P, PIT at ATL ($5,200)

You'll want to roll the dice on Musgrove on Monday if you're searching for a few thousand in salary to save, so you can spread it across the board elsewhere. He will be up against RHP Kevin Gausman, a pitcher who has coughed up 15 earned runs and 20 hits in just six innings over his past two starts. He is frazzled right now, while Musgrove picked up a win in the Steel City against the Braves last time on June 5th, allowing three earned runs, five hits and one walk with six strikeouts over eight innings.

Michael Wacha - P, STL at MIA ($6,000)

Wacha is another low-cost pitcher with a favorable matchup, so if you want to go light on pitching and load up on stud offensive players, this is the strategy to employ. He was banished to the bullpen after a shaky start against Kansas City, and he was terrible in his first relief appearance. However, he allowed just two hits with three strikeouts over 2 1/3 innings in his latest outing on June 4th; now he'll get another crack in the starting rotation. Wacha gets a golden opportunity against the lowest-scoring offense in the majors (221 runs or 3.51 runs per game).

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Victor Caratini - C, CHC at COL ($4,200)

Caratini has been humming along, leading all catchers with a .366 average (15-for-41) with a minimum of 40 at-bats. He also has six doubles, a homer and nine RBI with eight runs scored while posting a 1.065 OPS. He should add to his offensive numbers at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Matt Olson - 1B, OAK at TB ($3,600)

Olson has been hot over the past week, going 7-for-23 (.304) with three doubles and a pair of home runs with six RBI and a 1.080 OPS. He has hit safely in five of the past six, driving in six runs, including a homer and two RBI in Sunday's series finale in Texas.

Brandon Lowe - 2B, TB vs. OAK ($4,400)

Lowe has been one of the most consistent DFS keystone options, fourth in the majors with a .288 average with 14 homers, a triple, 13 homers and 41 RBI; also, his .886 OPS is second-best in the majors at the position.

Tommy La Stella - 3B/2B, LAA vs. LAD ($3,800)

La Stella has been a giant surprise from a fantasy perspective, especially in the power department. He entered this season with 10 homers across parts of five major leagues seasons in 396 games. La Stella enters this one with 15 homers and 39 RBI, both easily career bests and it's only June. His DFS salary has yet to even come close to his production, so continue to take advantage. He is also eligible to use at second base.

Tim Anderson - SS, CHW vs. WAS ($4,300)

Anderson will try his luck against RHP Anibal Sanchez in Monday's interleague series opener. He enters play with the second-best average among shortstops in the majors, slashing .324/.354/.495 with a .849 OPS. He has a respectable 19 extra-base hits, including nine homers. The Nationals have the worst bullpen ERA in the majors, so Anderson and the White Sox could post big numbers late in this one.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Ramon Laureano - OF, OAK at TB ($3,400)

Laureano has reached base in 28 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the majors. Take advantage of his low salary, as he is finding ways to get on base and make noise, including hitting safely in 21 of his previous 22 games. It won't take much production to exceed DFS salary expectations, as his salary continues to remain low due to his struggles in April.

Austin Meadows - OF, TB vs. OAK ($5,400)

You needn't worry about the weather in a game under the only dome in baseball without a retractable roof. You also do not have to worry about the offense with Meadows, as he'll be facing RHP Tanner Anderson in his first major league start. He was shaky at the Triple-A level, and the Rays should be able to get to him early.
