FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/7/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

With a wimpy two-game slate tonight, there won't be much diversity in these lineups. I'll include the higher priced targets in the intro and stack the more in depth picks with value plays and all that good stuff. Since this is a weird slate tonight, you need to be aware of some of the positional, pricing discrepancies. You probably already noticed that the highest-priced power forward tonight is Thaddeus Young at $6,600, with C.J. McCollum as the most expensive shooting guard at $8,000. I wouldn't immediately throw these guys in your lineup, but instead look a few names down the list and roster the likes of Jerami Grant and Eric Bledsoe. Both are cheaper and offer the same if not better upside based on their matchups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/6/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter. And make sure you're checking out the latest Live NBA Vegas Odds over at Lineups.com, with spreads, MLs, O/Us, and line movements from all the major sports books. Good luck!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Raymond Felton - PG, OKC @ POR (FD - $3,500)

Raymond Felton has only played in one of the games between the Trail Blazers and Thunder this season, but that one game was extremely significant. In only 21 minutes he scored 15 points on 10 shots. While recently his minutes haven't reflected strong play or any type of build up, but since this game should be competitive, I am expecting Felton to get more minutes and be required to do more off-ball facilitating, leading to wide open shots for himself.

Khris Middleton - SG, MIL vs IND (FD - $7,500)

I should have started with Khris Middleton being mentioned but hey, I need a household player I can use for a featured image. Since most players will probably value Middleton over McCollum tonight anyway, you can't really afford to pass up a big game from Middleton. You are going to be stuck stacking one team or another and while the Pacers have been solid all year, their defense is going to have to control Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

I have faith the Pacers won't get absolutely blown out of the water, but I also don't see them keeping up with the firepower the Bucks have on both sides of the ball.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Tyreke Evans - SF, IND @ MIL (FD - $3,500)

Tyreke Evans hasn't done much in terms of getting the trust of DFS players, but you ask those same DFS-ers what they think about Evans production and it's an entirely different story. He hasn't been consistent, but when he has played well, he's absolutely incredible. Despite only playing 15 minutes in his most recent games, he still has an unprecedented 30% usage over the past week. Regardless of how Evans plays on a nightly basis, the team clearly wants him to have the ball and want him to get going.

When he plays well, the entire team benefits. He forces the defense to space out, allowing his teammates to get to their spots. It's clear how the Pacers would like to use Evans and they know his value. The Bucks might be one of the top teams with some of the better two-way players in the league, but Evans is matchup-proof and I think he finds a way to produce and keep the Pacers in this game.

Al-Farouq Aminu - PF, POR vs. OKC (FD - $4,900)

If you decide to fade one of either Jerami Grant or Thaddeus Young, you really don't have many more options outside of Al-Farouq Aminu. Zach Collins could be a perfect pivot but there's nothing to make me expect a dramatic bump in minutes, and Myles Turner is enough to keep me away from rostering D.J. Wilson. All in all, you have three options unless you just love risky plays. Aminu hasn't had some super-steady game log over the past week or two, but because of his defense he is always capable of having great games.

His shot attempts per game have risen over the past 10 games and since the Thunder are in the bottom half when it comes to guarding opposing power forwards, the upside is there. Especially if the Thunder defense shuts down the Trail Blazers main sources of offense.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Jusuf Nurkic - C, POR vs OKC (FD - $8,600)

Love Steven Adams. Great defender and I hate to directly target him, but Jusuf Nurkic has just figured out how to use his body against him. Athleticism favors Adams, and the Thunder got the better of the Portland frontcourt last time they played, but I don't see that happening again. Nurkic won't annihilate Adams and go for some ridiculous statline, but when it comes down to it, there won't be a more productive center tonight. Nurkic is a walking double-double and he has upside on the defensive end since Adams tends to be somewhat immobile on offense.
