Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea (shoulder) continues to play catch as he begins his throwing program and is well ahead of schedule of where he was initially projected after his shoulder injury was diagnosed last year. There's still no guarantee that Manaea will even pitch in 2019, but it's looking more likely that he'll have a chance to return at some point in the second half. The 27-year-old southpaw went 12-9 with a 3.59 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 6.0 K% in 27 starts before his shoulder injury last year. Because of the uncertainty around his injury, he should be ignored in redraft leagues.--Keith Hernandez
