There’s no other way to put it, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar just keeps on raking. Pillar picked up two more hits in Tuesday’s 7-4 win over the Minnesota Twins -- both doubles -- while also scoring a run, driving in one and stealing a base. Pillar is now on a six-game hitting streak, also picking up base knocks in eight of his last nine outings. He’s now up to a ridiculous .315/.361/.574 slash line (.935 OPS) with four home runs, 12 doubles, two triples, 21 runs scored, 15 RBI and five stolen bases on the year. We’ve seen plenty of flashes from Pillar before only to see him go into multi-month slumps of nothingness, but if this is the year he finally puts it together in terms of consistency, we could be witnessing a huge breakout.--John Smith
