The 2017 champion, Brian Harman, will face the unfamiliar prospect this week of trying to defend his title on a course different to that which he won on last year. The change of venue to facilitate the 2017 PGA Championship meant that the Wells Fargo Championship moved to Eagle Point for the 2017 edition. But Harman will be buoyed by some impressive finishes at Quail Hollow Golf Club in the past. In 2013, Harman finished T10 at the event, and at last year's PGA Championship Harman took a share of 13th place. Harman has enjoyed a fine 2018 thus far. His work with the flat stick has been particularly impressive, and in the past 12 rounds on Tour he ranks third in this week's field for strokes gained-putting.--Gianni
