New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton had his finest game as a New York Yankee to date as the club romped over the Minnesota Twins 14-1 in the Bronx on Monday night. The reigning MVP of the National League picked up four hits in four plate appearances, also picking up a walk. In the fifth inning, he crushed a mammoth home run to left field, his fifth of the season. The 28-year-old, who was being booed not too long ago, was all smiles Monday as everything went right for the Yankees. Perhaps as the club takes positive steps forward, Stanton will pick up his hitting and recover from an abysmal opening month of the season.--RDelgado
