DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (2/3/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on February 3, 2018. Tom Vecchio's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have an 8 game NBA slate, which is a good size for a Saturday and there are some interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/3/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @DFS_Tom on Twitter. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Bradley Beal - SG,  WAS @ ORL (DK - $9,100)

Beal has a 33.3% usage rate along with averaging 1.10 fantasy points per minute now that John Wall is off the court with an injury. His price has increased a bit with Wall gone, but still a great spot for him, considering he is up against the Magic, who are giving up 44 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards, which is second worst in the league. Beal has scored 47 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, and makes a good option for any format tonight.

Jeff Teague - PG, MIN vs NO (DK - $5,600)

Teague isn't the most exciting option to roster in NBA DFS, but he isn't too expensive, and has a great matchup tonight. He is up against the Pelicans, who are giving up 47 DraftKings points per game to point guards. We know that Teague isn't one of the top offensive options for the Timberwolves, as he has an only 21% usage rate. Even with that lower rate, he is still averaging 0.90 fantasy points per minute this season. He has scored 25 points in three straight games, so a nice cash game option for tonight, in a game that has an over-under of 221 points.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Trey Lyles - PF, DEN vs GS (DK - $5,200)

This game has a massive over-under set at 229 points, so you will certainly want some exposure to it in any format. Lyles has scored 20 or more DraftKings points in six of his last seven games, and isn't that expensive tonight. The Nuggets have a few injuries going around, and with those player being off the court, Lyles has a 23.6% usage rate, along with averaging 1.06 fantasy points per minute. Solid production out of a player at his price point, and has nice upside since this game has such a high over under. In the three games he has played the Warriors this season, he has averaged 23 minutes per game, while putting up 27 DK points per game.

Jonathon Simmons - SF, ORL vs WAS (DK - $4,900)

With Aaron Gordon being listed as questionable for this game, Simmons could be in line to get the start. If he does get the start, he offers a good bit of value, along with a nice matchup. He is up against the Wizards, who are giving up 42 DraftKings points per game, which is fifth worst in the league. When Gordon is off the court, Simmons has a 28% usage rate, along with averaging 0.81 fantasy points per minute. Great production, great matchup, and isn't that expensive.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, HOU @ CLE (DK - $7,300)

This game doesn't have an over-under set, but is should be on the higher scoring end, since the Rockets have a great offense and the Cavaliers can't play defense. Capela has scored 40 DraftKings points or more in two straight games, and is now up against the Cavs, who are giving up a whopping 52 DK points per game to centers. He is averaging 1.29 fantasy points per minute this season, and has double-double upside in nearly any game, making him a great tournament option.

Also consider: Nikola Jokic - C, DEN vs GS (DK - $8,700)
