DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider

Carlos Carrasco, CLE @ CWS (DK - $12,600, FD - $10,100)

Carrasco is the clear number one pitching option tonight, and has a super favorable match up. He is up against the White Sox, and long story short, the White Sox don't have a good offense, and they struggle vs right-handed pitchers. Chicago has a 23.3% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, and with Carrasco putting up eight or more strikeouts in four of his last five starts, this puts him in a great spot. He is averaging more than one strikeout per inning, and often pitches deep into the game, so he is worth the roster spot. Good in all formats tonight.

Sonny Gray, NYY @ BAL (DK - $9,200, FD - $8,600)

Gray has put up nine strikeouts in each of his last two starts, and is a cheaper option compared to some of the higher priced options. He is up against the Orioles who have a 21.8% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season. Baltimore has been hitting the ball lately, so Gray comes with a bit of risk, but with that risk, there can be reward on the other side. This puts him in a spot to be a solid GPP play, due to the mentioned reasons. Gray is savings at pitcher, but carries risk. Also note, this game may be impacted by weather.

DFS Infielders to Consider

Mike Zunino - C, SEA vs HOU (DK - $3,500, FD - $3,000)

Zunino often goes over looked at catcher for a few reasons, one he plays in mostly west coast games, which always have lower ownership, and two, most people don't think of the Mariners as a potent offense. Due to that, Zunino makes a good tournament play, and comes into this game with a .341 wOBA and a .257 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers. This may not be the best hitters park, but he has the power to get it done.

Joey Gallo - 1B, TEX @ ATL (DK - $4,300, FD - $4,200)

Gallo is a big time power hitter and absolutely crushes right-handed pitchers. He has a .369 wOBA and a .363 ISO this season vs RHP, which makes him playable in all formats. Gallo is at Atlanta, which is a solid hitters park, so the home run threat is real. He is up against a pitcher who is giving up 1.64 HR/9 vs left-handed hitters.

Rougned Odor - 2B, TEX @ ATL (DK - $3,500, FD - $3,300)

Odor is really only in play when he is up against a right-handed pitcher, as he is tonight. This season vs RHP he has a .304 wOBA and a .238 ISO, so plenty of home run upside. Odor is a bit too cheap on DraftKings tonight, so he brings the savings and the power upside. Great in a stack, for tournaments.

Jake Lamb - 3B, ARI @ LOS (DK - $4,400, FD - $3,300)

Always like Lamb when he is facing a right-handed pitcher, since he has a .395 wOBA and a .275 ISO this season against them. Lamb hasn't been as consistent as he normally is, but the Diamondbacks offense is hot right now and getting some exposure to it is never a bad thing. Playable in all formats tonight.

Didi Gregorius - SS, NYY @ BAL (DK - $4,100, FD - $3,400)

Didi has been hitting in the clean up spot recently for the Yankees, and getting him in that spot when he has a .360 wOBA and a .230 ISO this season vs right-handed pitching is something that shouldn't be passed up. At a great hitters park, and is up against a pitcher who is giving up a .364 wOBA to left-handed hitters.

DFS Outfielders to Consider

Melky Cabrera - OF, KAN @ DET (DK - $4,200, FD - $2,900)

Melky is under priced a bit today on FanDuel, and he has a good match up in front of him. He has a .334 wOBA and a .200 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers. Plenty of consistency along with a bit of savings on FanDuel. He is up against a pitcher who is giving up a a.373 wOBA to right-handed hitters.

Howie Kendrick - OF, WAS @ MIA (DK - $4,300, FD - $3,100)

Kendrick has seen plenty of sucess since being traded to the Nationals, and he makes a great play in any format tonight. He has a .401 wOBA and a .213 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers. Really strong numbers from the veteran, and with his stolen base upside, along with being in a powerful National offense, he should be a lock and load tonight.

Giancarlo Stanton - OF, MIA vs WAS (DK - $5,500, FD - $4,900)

Stanton has had a home run in every other game for his past four, and he didn't homer last night...so that means he is on track to hit one out tonight. We all know he is super expensive, but he brings along a .483 wOBA and a .466 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers. Yeah, that's pretty good.
