Daily Fantasy Soccer For 1/23: DraftKings EPL DFS Targets & Sleepers For Matchday 23

With the Premier League in full swing and Draft Kings adding new and improved rules to its soccer competitions, we're here to bring you the top picks for each position in this weekend's cash games and GPPs for EPL Daily Fantasy Soccer.

Below you'll find daily fantasy soccer notes and suggestions for goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and attackers.

Editor’s Note: Be sure to check out all of our soccer articles, and read more about the EPL Spanish La Liga and MLS

Premier League DFS Goalkeeper Picks For DraftKings

Top Pick - Joe Hart – Manchester City - Salary - $4,400

Last weekend, Hart made three saves en route to City’s 4-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace. The spotless victory was Hart’s tenth clean sheet of the season – sharing the league-lead with Petr Cech. Despite his stupendous record, Hart will face a tough test against a West Ham squad that has only been defeated once since November 22nd.

Value Pick - Jack Butland – Stoke City - Salary - $3,500

Jack Butland has proved to be a beacon of stability in what otherwise has been an inconsistent Stoke defense this season. The young keeper leads the league with 80 saves and in just his first season in the top-flight is a big reason why the Potters currently sit seventh on the table. While the matchup against Leicester may seem daunting at first glance, the goals for the Foxes have dried up recently - scoring just one in their last four league games. A scoreless draw will be ideal for both the Potters and Butland-owners alike.

Premier League DFS Defense Picks For DraftKings

Top Pick - Patrick Van Aanholt – Sunderland - Salary - $4,100

Van Aanholt has been on a great run of form lately, scoring in the double-digits in each of his last three league games. Over that time, the Dutch fullback has been a terror going forward - scoring one goal on five shots while registering an assist. Sunderland will be favored this weekend, as they host fellow bottom-dwelling Bournemouth at the Stadium of Light.

Value Pick - Gael Clichy – Manchester City - Salary - $2,500

With Aleksandar Kolarov out with injury, Gael Clichy should get the starting nod for City. The stellar play of Kolarov has made playing time hard to come by for the latter fullback this season, appearing in just five league games. Despite his limited minutes, Clichy is an excellent defensive addition that will hardly be a weak-link in City’s superiorly talented lineup.

Premier League DFS Midfielder Picks For DraftKings

Top Pick - Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City - Salary - $8,500

There is no footballer in England in finer form than Kevin De Bruyne. Since Christmas, the Belgian midfielder has scored a goal and assisted on three more, scoring at least 11.5 points in each of his last six matches.

Value Pick - David Silva - Manchester City Salary - $5,800

Last week, Silva returned to the form in which he started the season. Looking finally recovered from injury; Silva was sensational, scoring a goal on five shots while also registering an assist, totaling a whopping 30 points.

Premier League DFS Midfielder Picks For DraftKings

Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur - Salary - $7,800

Kane, the league leader in on-target shots, is looking as good as ever playing up-top for the Spurs. Kane has scored at least 15.5 points in four of his last six games. In that same span, the young Englishman has four goals and an assist.

Ayoze Perez – Newcastle United - Salary - $5,500

After a month drought, Perez laced in the opening goal during the Magpies 2-1 defeat over west Ham last weekend. The match marked the second consecutive double-digit point performance for Perez.
