MLB DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - DraftKings Advice for 9/27/15

What's up RotoBallers. Welcome to another edition of my DraftKings DFS lineup picks and analysis. As always, my goal with this article is to help you identify viable options to insert into your DraftKings lineups, based on DFS pricing and matchups data.

Here's a compilation of players I like when choosing a lineup for Sunday, September 27th. Players are broken out by position, and I've included a couple DFS stacks to consider for your DFS lineups as well.

Editor's Note: If you play on DraftKings, you should also check out our partner FanDuel. Sign up now for a new account and make a deposit - we'll give you free access to RotoBaller's Premium DFS Lineup Picks and Matchups Tools (a $29.99 value). Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking

Los Angeles Dodgers RHB vs Chris Rusin

As right-handed batters, the Los Angeles Dodgers hold the third best offense in the league against left-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 122. The tricky thing about the Dodgers lineup is that it is pretty much loaded with left-handed batters. Take advantage of this by snatching some sneaky sleeper picks such as Jimmy Rollins and Scott Van Slyke, who should find themselves in the lineup against the struggling Chris Rusin in Colorado.

New York Mets LHB vs Keyvius Sampson

As left-handed batters, the New York Mets hold the third best offense in the league against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 118. They look to have a great matchup against opposing pitcher Keyvius Sampson, who has failed to convert a quality start in 8 straight outings. Lucas Duda, Daniel Murphy, and Curtis Granderson all have great numbers as of late, and should be quality value picks for your lineup.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings

Jake Arrieta (SP, CHC) - $13600

Jake Arrieta has been a top-shelf pitcher this season, and deserves the price tag. Arrieta will face the Pittsburgh Pirates, a team that holds a top ten offense with a wRC+ of 101. However, please consider Arrieta matchup-proof at this point. Arrieta holds an ERA under 1.00 since the All Star Break, and has pitched 8.0 or more innings in 5 straight starts.

Erik Johnson (SP, CWS) - $4000

If you go with Arrieta has your primary pitcher, Johnson may be worth a look as your compliment to the ace. Johnson is as cheap as they come, and has actually pitched well in four starts this season. He will face the New York Yankees, who hold a top ten offense with a wRC+ of 101. Johnson has posted quality starts against good offenses such as the Royals and Tigers, so have a look at him as a bargain play.

DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings

Derek Norris (C, SD) - $3200

Derek Norris makes for a great value pick against opposing pitcher Zack Godley at home. On the year, Norris holds a wOBA of .296 against right-handed pitching. Norris has strung together some nice performances at the plate over this past week, while Godley has failed to display the control he showed in his earlier starts.

Victor Martinez (1B, DET) - $3500

Victor Martinez looks to be a must-start against opposing pitcher Ervin Santana at home. Martinez has struggled against right-handed pitching this season, holding a wOBA of only .260. However, Martinez has looked much better at the plate as of late, as he is 13 for his last 36 with 2 home runs. Martinez is also a career 10 for 28 with 2 home runs against Santana.

Robinson Cano (2B, SEA) - $3800

Robinson Cano has been hitting very well as of late, as he heads into Sunday on a 9 game hitting streak. Overall, Cano has had a brilliant second half, holding a .321 average with 13 home runs since the All Star Break. On the year, Cano holds a wRC+ of 126 against right-handed pitching. He will face opposing pitcher Jered Weaver, who has struggled and been prone to the long ball.

Nolan Arenado (3B, COL) - $5100

Arenado makes for a great value pick against opposing pitcher Alex Wood at home. He holds a wOBA of .306 against left-handed pitching on the year. At home this season, Arenado has hit .313 overall. He looks to have even more value for smaller competition pools, given his near lock for production on Sunday.

Starlin Castro (SS, CHC) - $3000

Starlin Castro looks like another must-start against opposing pitcher AJ Burnett. Castro has reclaimed his role as an everyday batter, and still comes at an incredible bargain based on his potential production. He only holds a wOBA of .283 against right-handed pitching on the year, but is a career 16 for 36 against Burnett.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings

Mike Trout (OF, LAA) - $4900

Mike Trout should continue to hold a lock in your lineup as long as he is hot. He will face opposing pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma at home. Trout is hitting .309 with 7 home runs in the month of September. He heads into Sunday with an 8 game hitting streak, and also holds a wOBA of .408 against right-handed pitching this season.

A.J. Pollock (OF, ARI) - $4500

AJ Pollock comes at an incredible bargain, and should be a great value pick as your secondary outfielder. Pollock will face opposing pitcher James Shields on the road. This season, Pollock holds a wRC+ of 129 against right-handed pitching. He has been a monster producer all year, and his power uptick in the month of September adds to his value in larger competition pools on DraftKings.

Andrew McCutchen (OF, PIT) - $4400

Andrew McCutchen looks to be a great pick in smaller competition pools as he faces opposing pitcher Jake Arrieta on the road. McCutchen carries an affordable price tag and also holds a great wRC+ of 142 against right-handed pitching this season. Also note that he is a lifetime 8 for 21 with 3 walks against Arrieta.
