Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Drake Maye, New England Patriots
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has been playing at an elite level lately, and he will rank as a high-end QB1 for this week's matchup against the Chicago Bears. Maye opened the season with an ugly three-game start, but then he completely turned a corner and produced one of the best three-game stretches in recent NFL history. Over the last three weeks, he has 878 passing yards, 103 rushing yards, 11 total touchdowns, and just two interceptions.
Not only is he the undisputed QB1 from Weeks 4-6, but he is also the highest-scoring player in fantasy football during that three-game span, and the race is not particularly close. As long as Maye is playing at a high level, he should be started in 100% of fantasy football leagues. That remains the case for Thursday Night Football against the Bears, who have allowed the third-most rushing touchdowns and the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in 2026.
Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams completed 30 of his 36 pass attempts for 305 passing yards, one passing touchdown, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 6 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He also rushed for three yards, took four sacks, and recovered his own fumble. Williams didn't have the greatest game by any means, but he stood out for his efficiency by maintaining an 83.3% completion rate with more than 300 yards total.
Fantasy managers were certainly pleased to see these numbers from the former No. 1 pick after he missed three games with a hamstring injury. He is firmly solidified as a mid-to-low QB1 in fantasy football, and he remains a very intriguing starter for Week 7 against the New England Patriots on Thursday.
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said that quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) got in some limited work in practice on Wednesday, according to Ryan Mink of the team's official website. Jackson was not present on the field during the period of practice open to the media, but the two-time MVP eventually mixed into some drills. It is unclear if Jackson will be listed as limited or as a DNP on Wednesday's final injury report.
Jackson sprained his left ankle in the Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans and has missed each of the last two games as a result. If he continues to make progress in practice through Friday, Jackson could be cleared to return in Week 7 against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals, but that remains to be seen.
In four games played so far in 2026, Jackson checks in as the QB10 while averaging 20.8 fantasy points per game with 967 passing yards, six touchdowns, and only one interception. Jackson has added 144 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Fantasy managers are just hoping that Jackson continues to run the ball after he returns from his ankle sprain.
Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold completed 27 of 51 passes for 278 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions in Thursday's 17-14 loss to the Denver Broncos. He added 19 yards on two carries. Darnold was under duress all night, taking 17 hits and getting sacked five times. Thursday marked the second straight game Seattle allowed five sacks.
It's a disappointing result for the veteran, as he couldn't get much going despite Denver missing its top corner, Patrick Surtain II (ankle). Darnold has now thrown two interceptions in three of his last four games, and his TD:INT ratio sits at an unsavory 7:5 through four full starts. Seattle will face the Kansas City Chiefs in a pivotal primetime Week 7 matchup and Darnold projects to carry mid-end QB2 value.
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
Despite leading his team to an upset victory over the divisional rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 6, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been unable to recapture the fantasy magic that made him a league-winner after taking over the starting job midway through the 2025 season.
Through six games, Brissett has reached 17 fantasy points only twice and currently ranks as the QB22 by points per game, making him little more than a desperation play in superflex formats and an easy drop candidate in single-quarterback leagues. Despite wins over both Los Angeles teams, the Cardinals sit at 2-4, and it should surprise nobody if, at some point, the team looks to find out what it has in 2026 third-round pick Carson Beck.
