Matt Fitzpatrick Looking to Continue Outstanding Season At FedEx St. Jude Championship
Matt Fitzpatrick missed the cut at The Open Championship last month, marking his first missed cut of the season. Fitzpatrick returns to action this week for the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. So far this season, Fitzpatrick has three wins, nine top-25 finishes, and one missed cut in 18 starts. He finished tied for 32nd at last year's FedEx St. Jude Championship and tied for 18th in 2024. Over the past 12 months, Fitzpatrick ranks in the 91st percentile for greens in regulation on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is worth mentioning because over 41% of approach shots came from this distance at last year's FedEx St. Jude Championship.
