Luke Clanton Having Tough Season Heading to 3M Open
Luke Clanton missed the cut at the Corales Puntacana Championship and will shift his focus to preparing for this week's 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. Clanton has struggled this season, recording only one top-five finish at the Puerto Rico Open in March. He has seven missed cuts in 16 starts this season. Clanton finished tied for 61st at last year's 3M Open and missed the cut in 2024. Over the past 12 months, Clanton ranks in the 47th percentile for greens in regulation on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is worth noting because over 37% of approach shots at last year's 3M Open came from this distance.
