Xander Schauffele Will Need to Find His Approach Game at Genesis Scottish Open

Xander Schauffele finished tied for 51st at the Travelers Championship last month and will now focus on preparing for this week's Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, United Kingdom. Schauffele has eight top-25 finishes and one missed cut in 14 starts this season. He finished tied for eighth at last year's Genesis Scottish Open and tied for 15th in 2024. Over the past 12 months, Schauffele ranks in the 95th percentile in greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway.
